As a freshman in college who rides, I absolutely understand the aspect of not wanting people to touch your bikes. But if you are willing to accept the risk i think it's a great thing to do. When you have a bad day at school or are stressed, being forced to think about one thing that you love doing is a great way to break out of the doom and gloom. And if the majority of the time I'm spending on the road is to school I would rather spend it on a bike I love.
@@thoughtakenAlso I feel like it probably isnt as bad for people who arent well known tiktok bikers. I feel like people are more likely to touch your shit if you are well known.
@@thoughtaken A brake disc lock takes some of that tension off! If you get one with an alarm, people won't even be able to touch the bike without the alarm going off.
I have absolutely no idea what it's like in America but I live in the Czech Republic in the middle of Europe and here you can ride your motorcycle in front of the school all you want and I'm 89% sure nothing will happen to it people here have a lot of respect and are more likely to be happy to look at it rather than sit on it or destroy it.
I do like watching your riding content, and it seems that whenever you’re riding, you have something thought provoking to talk about. Best of both worlds.
I have this cheap Chinese electric motorcycle that I ride everywhere. I've had it for a year and only now did I just learn that it has a steering lock. Thanks for teaching me something new!
Working 2 jobs in school to be able to get my first bike. Very excited! Long road ahead but hopefully soon. Also as a francophone myself, I love seeing other people learn french. Really is a beautiful language.
Hey I’m a hvacr guy been doing it since I was four with my grandfather I now own my own company got a nice classic truck and five bikes soon to be six and a boat the trades have been great to me and I love it
you talking about people respecting your things helps younger people who watch your videos to learn that if they love something and don’t want someone to ruin it that they shouldn’t do that to someone elses things. Listening to your talk is really calming and you explaining how you can be yourself on your bike helps people understand that you dont have to do something because someone dosent want you to do it but to do what makes them happy. Thanks for being totally awesome. Love your videos. 💕
Love this style of vids. The scenery is beautiful, and the topics you discuss and your train of thought are interesting. Duolingo may help with french, even though I took french at school, I still find it a great tool for passive learning.
Such a chill, well raised and respectful dude! Love to see it! So rare these days. I'm 18 and I'm gonna do the A2 license next year here in Germany and I'm currently looking at an MT-07 for my first bike (Tuned down to 48hp to make it A2 compliant) (Yes, European motorcycle licenses are very weird). Absolutely cannot wait to finally be able to drive one!
Thanks for this video Matt, I’m a senior in HS and just recently purchased my first bike. It sucks but after this video, I will probably not ride to school and keep the riding to myself.

After all 3, I finally found what I love and that's diving. So I guess what I'm trying to say, is for all the yong people out there. Don't be afraid to try multiple things in life and find what really makes you happy. Cause before those schools I was in the Army, did I love it, yeah I did. But I wanted to find something that made me happy and sometimes it takes one degree and sometimes it takes 3. So go try everything you want to and find that dream career that makes you happy in life.

It's all about discipline, going to class even though we don't want to. I leave 10 mins before class and always arrive on time because I literally park next to the classroom door. I'm also 22 y/o riding an 2022 MT-07, studying software engineering from Puerto Rico ✌🏽

Some of us are not rich and ONLY have a motorcycle (an older one) and had to/have to ride to work and school and every where; rain or shine. 12 years later and about 10 bikes later, this chick is still riding to work, and I enjoy it to this day. When I drive a truck or car I feel weird and almost will fall asleep if I drive in bumper to bumper traffic or even if I’m on the freeway for an hour going a steady 80mph. I have to have the windows down on the freeway to keep my brain stimulated.
Fun vlog! As for me I like to commute to work. It's not necessarily faster indeed, but definitely enjoyable. Especially when hitting some traffic on the highways or within city bounds. But riding out for fun, or a trip with or without destination or to a motorcycle dealership to get a coffee look at bikes, hang out and look through gear, or just ride to go eat somewhere are definitely more enjoyable.
Great video dude! Thanks for taking us on another great thought provoking ride! Currently living out my motorcycle dreams through your videos! Next spring my guy! Next spring we’ll have the bike. Thank you for the inspiring videos!
