  • This should work with any car or truck.
Fix your oil pan for only about $20 !!
Save HUNDREDS or even THOUSANDS with this simple 3 step process that is DIY friendly!
I spent about $20 on the SteelStick and JB Weld Original. I already had the Oxi-Clean at home.
Prep is going to be the most important part of this process! Make sure to thoroughly clean and prep area before applying the JB Weld.
This actually worked !! And the JB Weld held up really well !!

Cleaning the surface is key . Also if you can’t get oil to completely stop use crayon on the crack and dig it in . It will stop the oil long enough for you to use this method .👍🏽

Yeah agree with you that something like this pretty cheap and much easier to fix it . Worth a shot . This mechanic who owns a shop told me it never failed him . I've a tiny hairline crack on my aluminum pan and using something similar called QuickAluminum cost $17 looks like yours in a plastic tube mix it with your fingers . He even told me where to buy it and how to use it . Just mix it with your fingers put on prep area . He told me to let oil drain out of it overnight . Use brake cleaner then use brush /scrape it . Put on thin narow line right on the crack the first time wait on hour . then put on wider application the second time wait one hour .

you see, i did this to my f-150 today. i used carb cleaner and a rag. not clean enough i promise. it seeps around the edges and barely leaks out. might get the liquid mixture he used for last coat, and just slap in on and hope that she holds up👍🏽 definatly don’t wanna change the oil pan on that thing

I did something similar but I only used Marine Weld Syringe. I was 70 miles from home when I hit an object on the road and gouged my transmission pan. Stopped.by autozone, fixed it outside AutoZone, and waited an hour for the cure time. 200 miles later it's still holding up. But it was an emergency repair on the road and I'll eventually change pan.

@@shoobiedoubie6871 What I should have did was plug it with a metal cork first. You can't expect to patch a hole the size of a nickel and just have a screen and that jb weld. It's not strong enough. The oil slowly leaks through the patch and tears the weld apart. I should have been smart enough to just replace the oil pan instead of hoping for a quick fix with the jb weld. $120 later and I learned my lesson finally. I will replace it this week.
