I can continue to produce data that supports the claim that the economy does substantially better under Democratic presidents, but why bother? Given these facts, how do Republicans ever win any races. Simple. They exploit hot button social issues such as abortion, LGBTQ rights, perceived loss of moral values, in society, abandonment of religious beliefs, perceived decline in national defense against threats, and imagined threats associated with increased civil rights for minorities. None of these has anything to do with the economy, but they do evoke passionate, though totally fictitious, fears. The Republican party today appeals to voters by exploiting fear in various forms. By loudly focusing on these fears, they misdirect the people attention away from the harsh reality of the failure of their policies on improving economic growth for all people, while rewarding the ultra-rich who donate huge sums of money to safeguard their strangle hold on their elected positions.

Instead of trying to fact check each lie, how about a generic challenge like, "What is the source of that claim?" Or, "How do you know that that's true?" If he responds, "Everyone knows that", then state, "I'm sorry, but 'everyone knows' is not a source", or "'Everyone knows is demonstrably not true'."
Another quip might be, "It's a good thing for you that you're not under oath."

It’s another false talking point from the right. They’ll keep saying she’s “unqualified”, even if she’s factually one of the most qualified candidates in decades, and statistically far more qualified than Trump, JFK, Reagan OR Obama when they were candidates for president. Similarly, they’re still lying about how we have “no information” about her policies when there’s literally more clear info published on hers than Trump’s. Just use your own brain and eyes and ears.
