I reported it as a scam a few times. They keep remaking accounts and buying new ads.
I do the same thing every time I see them.
Doesnt hurt to report them, but Scammers will never go away. The only thing that can really be done to fight scams is to educate yourself and others.

FB seems to have zero quality control when it comes to ads.
My friend sent this to me earlier today. I was pissed because I got the X-Men one around Christmas and that price seemed so much better. But after looking at the ad, I knew something was off. Thank you for posting this video!
My girlfriend had this pop up and she showed it to me. I was 99% sure something was off, but I wasn't in the headspace to do any investigative journalism. Glad to know my Spidey Sense was tuned correctly, though
If it sounds too good to be true, it almost always is.
Facebook is still showing that particular ad. I reported it this evening. This site is a complete rip of the real website.
Maybe if Arcade 1Up didn't charge 700 bucks per machine, they'd have more customers.
They've sold millions.

First of wall I wanted to thank you Pat for equalizing the volume level of your voicemails. It seems seems to have been forgotten this round through. I hope you’ll have time to do it again in future podcasts. Going from a whisper loud voicemail person to the Ian sound board sound BIG BIG, nearly blows out my ear drums lol. If you really want a cabinet on a sale price you need to check in stock availabilities like your local Walmart every day. I was at the right place at the right time when I got my TMNT cabinet for 200 dollars because Walmart cared more about putting other merch in its place.
I hear ya but it still sounds like a pain in the ass. Its if what someone wants to do I get it and good luck. I cannot stand walmart so no go for this guy and I really would dig the TMNT cab. tough choice for me. I do love that game

I saw a pop up from Facebook that was selling a clone snes, but had the guy from spawn wave in the first 3 seconds holding one, and then it went into the fake commercial.
Facebook is too busy banning people like myself for simple sarcasm instead of heading scammers off at the pass. Nice moderating Zuck!
I get all sorts of ads for fake scam products like this. They'll sometimes take someone's hand made Etsy item and present it as if it's from the factory, like a unique D&D bookend I saw; I was literally at the checkout screen for that one when I looked at the name of the company and thought better of it, and a reverse Google image search proved I was right.
I'm very skeptical of Facebook ads. I did one a year ago and the item smelled like hell. I haven't done it since.

One of my room mates sent me this link as well. Outside of it being one of those too good to be true, but I noticed that they that had some where long discontinued and a few that where not even out yet. I feel bad for anyone that wouldn't know better.
Some of those cabs haven’t even had official announcement dates. Lol
Facebook keeps posting this on my feed despite me continuing to hide it and ask it to be removed.
If I get one of those ads, I'll report it as a scam.
I saw this on my Facebook and thought no way to good to be true. however it deceiving looked legit at first.
I could have actually gotten the final fight one for 50 dollars at Walmart on clearance. Didn't get it because I didn't really know where to put it. Should have just gotten it anyway. *Sigh*.
I saw something like this last summer with those giant inflatable water slides for your backyard. They were all priced at around 98 dollars, yet I knew they were supposed to be 4 to 600 because I had thought about it for my kids. If you have no clue, it seems like a reasonable deal. Many of the comments were people excited about the purchase.
If something's way too good to be true, it almost always is!
Saw this same typr of thing with that Super Mario smart watch that was around....advertised for like $50 bucks but the legit watch sold for over $1400
I just bought lights for my TMNT cabinet last night so this thumbnail scarred me.
My dad fell for something similar to this but with a kitchenaid mixer.
That site has been up for years. Of course I told Facebook it was a scam. And they told me there was not enough information to shut it down. So I would not be surprised if it was Facebook themselves.

Will be honest I'm usually cautious on Facebook ads, onetime I did an order for a handheld laptop and after several weeks item arrived but never what I ordered. Had to dispute it and had proof that they had me send it back to get a refund. Something needs to be done about scam adds on facebook.
Yeah while this is scummy as all heck i kinda am over feeling sorry for ppl who fall for scams. I mean internet has been around long enough 4 ppl 2 know to double and triple check where you enter sensitive information. I mean ignorance is no excuse anymore. Ppl are CHOOSING to be conned i mean seriously you could learn and teach urself 2 protect yourself yet still ppl are ignorant of how world works around them

You can get these cabinets this cheap sometimes at Wal*Mart in areas where retro gamine stuff doesn't sell well.
I've seen legit videos on UA-cam about guys that know when Walmart is selling them for cheap and they get these for like $150 bucks. Sadly I don't have that kind of luck.

Make your own if you want an arcade cabinet. It doesn't require specialized tools and is super satisfying in the end.
I saw that to and was like perfect than getting to the site it's like nope it's a scam.
They got me, but I was able to let my credit card company know what was up.

Heads up that the scams send an empty envelope to your address so paypal will deny your claim because they seller supplies a tracking number and says you received it.
Depending on what carrier they use you can probably get the postal inspector involved.
your credit card company will refund you if you contact them.
PayPal will only refund you if you actually contact them. Going through a dispute won't do anything because they submit a fake tracking number. :/

Because of that I've been seeing a ton these lately, but my eye goes straight to those sneaky links.
If you read who it's from on top says Arcades1up with an S before the 1up , that's a red flag right there.

I would actually be tempted to buy an arcade machine if someone ever did the original House of the Dead. That game gets no love, and I have 2 & 3 on the Wii, but if someone replicated the light gun style of arcade fun, that could lead to a ton of great releases for at home affordability

Huh. I thought it was just me. Honestly. I get scumbag ads like this a lot, so I just assumed it was another one for the pile. Kind of figured something was off when the Page it advertised on was called "Arcades1Up" and it only had 10 Likes on it.
Arcade1up is scam hardware themselves. When i comes to arcade emulation its the lowest quality available. And its one of the few options that costs money.

I feel no sympathy for people that fall for the 90% off scams on the internet. If you believe that some random ad is selling something for hundreds off, and you dont do 1 minute of research, you deserve whatever happens.
