I want to clarify something…Most say MJ doesn’t sing live often which is a huge misconception/false! He only used playback not completely lip sync, it isn’t that cut and dry with MJ he sung underneath the playback mostly after he was 35 years old. And folks are ignoring almost 25 years of performances before than where he didn’t lip synced. Also I don’t think it matters in Michael’s case weather he sang with or without playback. Firstly, he danced,ran and jumped alot during every show. This is a huge stress, and hundreds of such concerts must be held. Even breathing is impossible, and here he also has to sing. And the most important thing - we all know that he sang insanely well, could create miracles with his voice, wrote songs and music himself. He was genius, and he didn’t need to pull off every note at every concert, as if in a vocal lesson. So if any artist had an excuse to use playback etc. it’s this man he was singing live for 25 straight years since being 10 years old which is 2.5 decades of singing live w/ no playback or lipsyncing. It’s nuts most singers in general can’t maintain live singing for that long of a timespan. That’s the power of MJ you can't really directly compare male to female singers. Because females are naturally in the soprano's range. However,no singer has a distinct tone,voice,character and range comparable to that of Michael Jackson. MJ’s vocal range is ridiculous! And his Octave Range is above 5. Highest Note Belted? G5/Ab5 from “Dirty Diana”. In general, his highest is Db6, which is surprisingly in multiple of his songs, one of my favorites being from the ending of "Leave Me Alone", but he's also hit it in “Thriller” and a few others. Every world class opera singer can sing like Mariah,or anyone for that matter But nobody can sing like Michael Jackson and still sound nearly as great as him. Same statement applies to his live performances and dance moves etc. truly the Greatest Vocalist Of All Time! You’re able to have your favorites but MJ is crème de La crème.👑🎤💯
THE GOAT! 🐐
Please React to Michael Jackson “Grammys” Performance (1988)👑
I was at the HIStory consert in Gothenburg, and the Dangerous consert in Stockholm. It was every bit as amazing as one can only imagine and double it. One could feel MJ in the stadium. The consert production was off the chart and, well, Michael was just the greatest to ever do it. The dancing, the songs, the singing, the energy and the energetic contact with the audience. Life altering experiences.
You my friend are one extremely lucky human being LOVE!❤️✨
@DuhhTee Don't I know it. 🌻🌠
Well mj had lupus a severe lung desice and vitilago, which is connected..and other auto mute disorders. Where it effected his ability to sing at times. He did not lip sync all the time. In order to do the world tours he had to use help if he was gonna make it through ...on the later tours that is
.
He isn't actually singing live here (besides a few adlibs towards the end), if you compare the studio version it sounds the exact same, during this time he was sick with laryngitis so most of the concert was playback. If you want to watch a live version where he is actually singing live, I recommend live at Wembley 1988. ❤
He's definitely singing live in certain parts but had something wrong with his voice he was sick
Now way! I had no idea!
bucharest 1992 was his besf billie jean
Billie Jean was actually one of the last songs he performed in his concerts, so this was probably about an hour and a half into the concert. Like someone else said, half of the performance was lip synced but mainly because of the stress of dancing that hard and trying to sing clearly. MJ was 35 here and dancing longer than he did when he was 25 or 30. Not to mention the man was NOT healthy here. The 90s were awful to MJ from the media's constant bullying, addiction to painkillers, lupus, laryngitis, him not liking to eat he wasn't healthy enough to do what he did in the 80s. So, yes in the 90s MJ started lip-syncing his more dance-heavy songs. But you should check out MJ Live 1988 in Wembly wanna be start in something or human nature.
