Great vid Joe. I have such mixed feelings about Yorkshire Counties 3.0. I mean I don't regret buying it, just for the Veiling! But the map; the execution is superb; it's so nicely and thoughtfully built. But some of the design approaches are ...meh. I drove a late Sunday night service (can't remember the route) and had 6-10 passengers boarding at every stop..... 8 people got on at a random bus stop at Batley Woods, with nothing around! I checked in the editor and the bus stop cubes have been set up very simplistically (0-10 passengers at almost all stops). Then there's the place names; some are cringeworthy; too many generic names like "Country Pub". Also, "Chancet Wood Terminus". It may be a rural terminus but it wouldn't have terminus in it's name, and it wouldn't have a huge sign with "CHANCET WOODS TERMINUS" on. Then there's the tiny areas named "Lake District" and "Peak District".... really? (Neither the lake nor peak districts are in Yorkshire!). And finally.... the sections of stupidly gamey, arcadey 'chicane' roads, like Batley Woods. I literally avoid driving there because it spoils an immersive drive. Reminds me of pure arcade maps like Bad Kinzau, back in the day. YC3 is very well made but *very* fictional in it's design.
Do you happen to know Joe, are the repetitive "missing child" etc announcements set up as 'sound cubes' in the editor? I want to remove these. I looked in all the bus and announcement folders but could not find them, so I'm guessing they are sound cubes? They are such a gimmick. I mean, once you've heard them once, that's it, you're never going to want to hear them every time you pass that location!
I have always wanted to try this map out, but what puts me off are the endless looooooong roads which would make the driving experience to me seem repetitive and boring rather quickly. I like maps with twists and turns, tight bumpy roads, lots of roundabouts and some detours to make the experience somewhat exciting and challenging. BOTW is probably the best UK map out there for this sort of lasting appeal so I might just stick with that, for now at least anyway 😉. Farthington is pretty good too. Nevertheless, well done to the devs for this decent looking UK map.

have you tried smarden yet? it's got lots of turns and corners and (from what i've seen anyways) seems to be quite challenging
161.5 a litre is now just a dream 😭
Good content, just one thing, however, it needs to last longer
how do I get the navigation?
I wanted to ask, when is the next Bus Simulator 21 video coming out?
What Schedule Priority setting do you use?
Hail to the bus driver!
Are you going to a rail replacement bus simlator one day
Rail replacement bus simulator? 🤣
