I have restored this very old vintage machine and put it into working condition. I seasoned the plates to use it daily.
I bought this toaster at the flea market for 2.5usd.Seller sold it as is.
I was planning to paint it, but when I cleaned the dirt, I realized there was no need for that.

I was this many days old (and feeling older Evey second of this vid) when I realized that electrical appliances are now antiques. 😯😁
I am feeling the same :)
You should change the old electrical wire and cable also...
You're quite right. I changed the cable before I started using it.
Most excellent restoration. You have to love all that chrome. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks for watching!
Finally a realistic cleaning video not like the adverts of the detergents used
Glad you liked it!!
wow your brave, using the same wires that are 100 years old. I wouldn't be the one plugging it in the first time.
LoL. Thanks for watching.
Lindo trabalho quero um sanduíche desse. Um abraço
interesting, i did not know those type of things were made way back then, i only started hearing about them when infomercials started appearing on tv in the late 80s
You're right, it's a pretty old device.
Perfeita
Muito obrigado.
Nicely done, but I know you'll do better in the future. Found you based on your latest video... subscribed.

@@AntiqueVintageRestoratioNs 😀
Thank you so much 😀
Teşekkürler.
Nezaketiniz için ben teşekkür ederim.
Better put this sandwich maker in a tip tank!
:). Actually i am using it right now.(i changed cables).
Thank you for reminding me that I need to clean my Foreman Grill...
:)
If you do another job like this, use a oven cleaner by Johnson and Johnson called "EZ -off Oven Cleaner"!!!
Just spray it on and let sit for 45 minutes and it will remove all the grime and save you hours of scrubbing!!💯👍👍👍
Thanks for the tip!
Também agradeço a dica. Also thanks for the tip
This heaters can contain asbestos. Regards: Stig Österberg from Dalsbruk in Finland.
I will be much more careful. Thank you for your warning. :)

The toaster is probably younger. The feet seem to be spot welded which was not common before 1930. And the style does not really match the 1920s too. I'll put it in the 1950s. Nice work nevertheless.
I am not sure about the age.I found smiliar ones on Ebay. They stated the production date as 1920. I took them as a reference.
it could be.
Good old SOS PADS would've worked better on all that grease & rust !!
Next time!
This is not a 1920's toast machine. Maybe 70's or 80's or later?
LOL. 70s or 80s in Soviet Russia maybe. This is definitely pre-1950s.
70 s impossible.Randall is right.
Sorry, this is not a restoration
You are absolutely right.(Most people dont use renovation). This was my first video.I will shoot restoration videos. Thanks for watching. :)
Why don’t you wear gloves to protect your fingers? Those chemicals will destroy your hand eventually....please take care.
Well done, but don't call it restoration.
You are totatlly right Alexander. This channel was actually going to be a do it yourself channel. When this video was watched a lot, the channel evolved as restoration channel.
Use lighter fluid to get rid of sticker glue. Works great!
Great tip!
