@@michaul6938 wish it was 2 months (it cash was there) although it looks like I had put ½ it's actually 1 / 2 years. Not good if I am honest, cash was ok but outgoings are way OTT atm as bills etc so high. Unless my miscalculation are very wrong it will probably be the 2 year mark. So I visited their website.. there’s no ‘about us’ section, I was actually intrigued to know how they make the chocolate? I mean, if you’re putting your own stamp on something, don’t you want to claim you’re making everything from scratch? Or if not, where it comes from by mentioning the source? I’m presuming (? Happy to stand corrected) that all they’re doing is buying cheap chocolate (milk / white / dark) & melting it down, & then adding their own flavours to it? I mean.. any one of us could do that in our kitchens? I certainly don’t mean any disrespect but what’s unique or special about this? What’s the selling point? I personally don’t like the taste of cheap chocolate (just your bog standard cheap bars I mean), & I’m guessing to keep pricing down & make a profit that’s what they’re using. I do think it’s great that they’ve succeeded in what they’re doing, & from the products I’ve seen they seem to be working with one or two smaller independent businesses which is nice.. it would just be nice to know more about the history of it all & where things are coming from, what inspired it all etc.
Yeahhhh... That's not their market though, is it? 🤔 People who buy white 'chocolate' (refined sugar) with marshmallows (refined sugar) and artificial gold shimmer and food colouring don't really care about its provenance, I'd imagine...
@@bbmcgee33 Well it is their market lol chocolate is their entire business. If you’re selling cheapo chocolate - say so, rather than marking it up & giving the impression it’s something it isn’t. I don’t mind either way, but I do support small businesses & most of the websites I go on have a history section / about us section / q&a section about where it all began & where the products come from.
