At the beginning of his speech, Georg Krause uses the analogy of gardening with different soils to illustrate the importance of mindset and intention in achieving goals. Emphasis is placed on the power of breaking tasks down into manageable steps and shifting focus towards solutions rather than dwelling on obstacles. By promoting positive self-talk and envisioning clear intentions, Georg encourages individuals to harness their creativity and flexibility to overcome challenges and pursue their aspirations with confidence. Georg Krause started his professional career after graduation in 1996 at the Hotel Management School in Lausanne. He spent several years of his professional life in the hospitality business abroad. Always fascinated by human behaviour and seeking to improve his skills and know-how, he decided to deepen his knowledge through NLP, hypnosis and self-learning. He then started coaching in 2007 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Georg opened his office in the beautiful city of Lausanne in 2013 and works with executives, private clients and athletes. He is further the only German-speaking NLP New Code trainer in Switzerland, trained and certified by John Grinder, Carmen Bostic St Clair and Michael Carroll.
Georg became an expert in change work, which allows his clients to build more positive and impactful relationships both in their personal lives and professional endeavors and hence their quality of life. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Thank you very much for sharing, Georg! Looking at what you need to change is so important for entrepreneurs!!! Just making the autopsy of failure will not bring you any closer, it's really the focus that will - action kills fear.

I believe, though, that self-talk must be both raw and transparent. From my experience, this kind of dialogue involves a blend of tough love and profound honesty. It takes real courage to confront and embrace the powerful truths about ourselves. When this honest self-reflection is infused with compassion and understanding, it becomes a transformative force, guiding us toward greater self-improvement and success.
