Maybe it's just me but the tank sounds quieter also.
Looks cool - will that overheat and cause a fire?
Maybe if it was T5's or halogen, but not the LED's it does get hot but nothing crazy.

I haven't measured it, but I pretty sure it reduces the amount of evaporation.
How do you feed your fish?
I have the apex auto feeder, it sits on top of the light rack.
What brand foam board was used for this?
