Hey, thank you. Well, it depends on what you're doing. Sometimes it's a matter of balance because the tendency is to pluck the first note harder to make the slurred note sound louder, but this is not correct. Instead, you can try to stroke the first note a little softer to make the slurred note sound more equal to the plucked note. Also, in general with slurs, it's the speed of the finger moving into the string that counts and not always the power. Slurs should be a part of your daily warm up routine as well. That will keep them in shape. Hope that helps.

Here is a strange thing: I have changed countless numbers of classical guitar strings over the thousands of years of my existence and I have always had to spend about 3 or 4 days constantly tuning them up until they became stable enough to hold the tuning and be playable. This is normal isn't it?
I have never had a set of strings that behaved any differently until today.
I changed the strings today and with only a tiny little slippage, with the minimum of adjustment needed they immediately stayed in tune!!
I'm sure everybody else has the same experience as me when they change guitar strings. I can't think of any reason why this has happened. Can you?

Hey, thanks for leaving a comment. It could have something to do with how you're attaching the strings to the tuning pegs. I always put several twists in the strings to help them stay in tune more when attaching them to the headstock.
You can check out how I do it in this video ua-cam.com/video/oR1CWxVwFCQ/v-deo.htmlsi=HV_hzDpAtv0uvcIN
Sounds like you may have already solved the problem though. Hope that helps.

@@guitarcody9 I was just posting it as a curiosity. yes I watched your video on string changing. I've never seen anybody put twists in the strings like that. I've never seen it suggested. But do you think that actually helps the strings to stay in tune quicker? New strings stretch. that's why they go out of tune. They don't go out of tune because they slip on the tuning peg. I think your system would help strings not to slip on the tuners when they are being tensioned for the first time especially the thinner nylon strings. I'll try it, certainly on the clear nylon strings but I don't think putting twists will actually stop the new strings from stretching.
I could be wrong I'm not a string engineer :)
