Hi. Now, almost a year since you posted this, I'm hearing there's no need for doing a factory reset nowadays when swapping coils, as long as you're running software version 2.76 or beyond. Can you offer any information on the accuracy of this new revelation? Many thanks 👍
Hello all! I have a problem to perform the factory reset... already my simplex have the v2.77, and does not make any "bip", and tuns on normally... what can be??
Thanks. I tried that but no luck. My problem with my simplex + is that I have only used it once and after that I cannot charge it. It just stops charging soon after I connect it, I am soo disappointed with it. Does anyone know how to fix it?
It sounds like it's already charged. I hunt for hours and my simplex only drops one maybe two bars. I've used it for several long hunt's and it still has a good charge. When I plug it in and think it's almost dead usually only one bar will flash. They hold a really crazy good charge for long time. I would just get out there and dig several hunt's and try to run it down some before you try charging it again. I've never ran mine dead or super low even, not charging it and using it for multiple days. Hope this helps. Keep swinging and digging. God bless 👍
