Dude I want to see Shanji on a GOOD team. Legit think he can become one of the goats in an enviroment that can let him thrive and improove.
He was on a wildcard team on OMG, now he moved up to a good team on NIP, he gets to play with Rookie and the rest of the squad is solid.
If he keeps this trajectory, he'll get into an elite team by the next two years. Realistically speaking he has to have an impact in playoffs and maybe even reach worlds to speed up the process. Right now I think his stock is under the likes of Bin, Breathe, 369, it's hard to put him in an elite team because of it.

Man he is on a pretty good team. He has Rookie, who just doesnt troll really. Phoetic can play really well (Budget JKL) The only questionable stuff is Aki and Support.

Rookie had a stinker game one, and a very average game two. Unironically Aki was a massive reason for them being in the game, and Photic was hard smurfing on these kids.
Hopefully Rookie figures himself out, there is some serious potential in this line up, if he can step up into it. But my biggest concern is NiP's macro, four out of five of these players hard relied on PPgod for macro, and Zhuo has never been a particularly cerebral player (You could almost call braindead.)
This is basically just another version of the OMG squad with pure teamfights being the core of their tactics. Now that the OMG coach and PPGOD are both on other teams, I doubt NIP goes further than top 6.
zhuo was always below average, i don't understeand why nip didn't buy ppgod too. him leading v5 (rookie was there too) made them pretty solid, and after joining omg he turned a coinflip team into a really solid one. it was a nobrainer to get ppgod alongside shanji and aki
I am glad all his previous guests have jobs now. I enjoy his videos when he solo commentates so much more, maybe one guest is fine but having too many sucks.

@@daandepauw5252 The overall level is better. G2 might be better than most of the bad/mid LPL teams, but what does that matter? EU got clapped at worlds, couldn't get to knockouts. And G2 got 2-0ed easily by NRG. LPL is a better region for sure, you're just delusional.

@AzureKite I was too but the org was the one who put these guys together. He should give the new roster a chance. They won there series 2-0 and they beat prince which was fun.
Yeah to be honest with regards to game balancing at this point what even is correct. Since they allowed such high damage for squishy units to get instakilled it seems there is no proper balancing, something is always too OP and riot feels it is necessary to make every new champ OP for sales. I think this is the real issue, rather than AD damage output or increased tank stats. Teamfighting seemed a whole lot more balanced when all units just had some more baseline durability/a more balanced set of moves. If ad's could actually fight for longer without getting oneshotted by a tank, due to less in game damage and slightly higher durability base stats, everything would just be way better from a balance aspect. Then late game you would hope there would be enough surivivability in teamfights to dish out a little more damage. Not just get hit with a yone ult for 0.2 sec and die. As you spend 20 seconds hitting a tank the odds of you getting oneshot at some point increase dramatically. Saying that also a better move would have been to not nerf ad items and just make tank ones better. But then again theres balance issues between ads too, as newer released ADs like aphelios are turbo in comparison to other older ones. Just balance issue after balance issue piling up over time to a point it's like you can never rebalance it without some serious fundamental changes. This has also negatively impacted the game in terms of strategy. Your objective is essentially can we create a scenario to blow up the enemy carry then proceed to end the game. Macro just aint the same since.

tbf when Dom says that xayah is hitting for 10 seconds and cant kill anyone (10:12) he only got a couple autos off cuz the choke was very clunky to fight in and couldn't get an E off cuz ksante ran away. It's true that crit ads are weaker now but he'll still pump with those items, those fights were just really hard for getting your 525 range autos off
