I really liked This Might Hurt by Stephanie Wrobel. It’s is a mystery/thriller, but it’s very character focused and I think that’s why it got lower reviews, I appreciated it though, I just think it was marketed in a way that people thought it was a popcorn thriller. But, In the Clearing by JP Pomare is absolutely fantastic, that one has great reviews, it’s more fast paced, and the show was also excellent. I believe the author is Australian, but it’s clear it’s inspired by an infamous Australian cult. Even though it got great reviews it doesn’t have the hype it deserves on booktube. Thanks for the tip about Devils Creek being free on audible right now, I’ve always been curious about it.
