I looked at the green and gold one of the gs in my local showroom when it came out, but my wife found the seat just too hard, shame. Now I've heard they have issues with the panniers, so I'm glad I didn't bother.
Apparently 44 Teeth said it's a bit of a tough one to install the tank mounting points for the small luggage bags post build. Better to get it done in the factory. $10,000 pounds between entry and 719 TE is a huge gap also although it sure is nice

I'd have liked to have seen BMW apply some of the style and sleek looks of their cars to this bike, to me it just looks like a clumsy lump. Each to their own I guess and it will still have its fans, especially those who want to keep up with the Jones's. I've just bought a 2023 BMW R1250R SE a bike most GSA and GSA owners would turn their nose up at but for me it has stylish aggressive looks and comfortable handling.
It's not their best design, sadly the new front end look means I'll be walking away from GS ownership 😞 I am hoping they sort the front end looks out with the upcoming GS model refresh.....

I believe the Brakes are all Brembo with BMW marked on the outside and Brembo on the inside.
