I must say, I am impressed with the dialogue and voice acting in this DLC. I think it's a huge improvement over the others.
Patrick Moore definitely, it’s a lot more like humans talking rather then some dialogue with no emotion.

The classical music that is played in this DLC is "Vltava" by czech author Bedřich Smetana from 1874
or that smetana really confused me,thought about it like russian word smetana like wtf.ty for clearing it
@Jonathan Bell Moldau is the german name of the river the piece is about. Vltava is the czech name.
And the first piece they are playing is Mendelssohn "The Hebrides".
Also, Čapek was a writer who was the first one to come up with the word "robot" which is now being used worldwide. In the game he brought a robot.

Finally.. Here I thought I would have to play it myself. Thanks for doing these videos and provide entertainment for us who are not able to play arma3 Contact due hardware limitations.
I actually played whole campaign with 13 fps. First it kinda sucked, but then I realised that I must play it smart. So I created missdirections, hacked drones and used stealth as much as possible. In the end my playthorugh may have looked like a power point presentation, but I still had fun.

Tbh kinda wished st some points that he had picked up a different weapon, probably would have made for some easier firefights, with most of the enemies having AR's and smg's.

@@jimsanoob hah, used to have some great banter with a coworker who was from the UK but lived in Canada, then drove to the US for work. We'd make fun of each other's different use of words all the time. I once gave him a "firearm safety 10 commandments" handbook. Told him be careful crossing the border with that kind of contraband, he might get arrested. Miss that guy. Brits and Americans get on well offline lol.

Indeed it's the best campaign they did offer to us, scenatio wise for sure since there is a lot of thing you can solve in different ways. Basicly stealth or not. Like he did rescue some soldiers by exploring around which i didn't because i didnt know.

I got no notification but saw it pop up on suggestions and instant click for PART 2.
EDIT: Dialogue is excellent and nice funny moments to ease the tension of an otherwise creepy and tense atmosphere. The scenario is set up to be one of the more realistic alien first encounters in fiction. Well given it never happened, it's hard to say if its realistic but at least actually believable and makes sense.

38:30 Man I got lit up approaching this supply truck.
When I played this part, those guys were nowhere to be seen. I imagined they must've been laying prone in some bushes watching the truck to see who would try to take stuff. Straight up ambush.
For you they were just facing the other way, and standing right out in the open, right by the truck.
I think its the map that creates the low fps. I just hovered there in the editor.
And i got really low fps. while I normally do not have any problems with it.
if they could do this dlc as a full and stabilized, patched game they could easily throw call of duty out of business

Not working for me that well either. Rtx 2070 + i5 7600k and same 25-30 fps. Usually SP arma is between 80 to 120..
