Elite Squadron was my life for the longest time, I wish so hard for a ground to space Star Wars game, maybe one day, also your comedic timing and review is of such high quality I cant help but sub
Agreed! I just recently beat the Order 66 mode and now have everything unlocked, which feels great! That’s why I was excited when I heard that version was going to be released on the Switch this year.
I remember Elite Squadron's story blew my mind back in the day, being this microcosm of the series' themes and spanning so many years wasn't the sort of thing I expected from another Battlefront kind of game
Star wars lethal alliance was actually one of my first two games on psp! I was 10. My dad was overseas in Iraq with the army and he bought a psp for himself. After it sat in his trunk for 6 months (never even opened the box!) he gave it to me for my 11th birthday when he was back home on leave. He then took me to a store and said I could pick out any two games. I picked lethal alliance, he picked (for me) brothers in arms: D-day. I played the HECK out of both of them and loved them so freaking much... I should give my dad a call, it's been a while...
In Elite squadron I would always start on the ground battle then to give support to my team I would take a ship go into space and use my cruisers orbital cannons to provide cover and support for the troops below. It was awesome.
We have elite squadron online working on our discord also force unleashed and renegade squadron online this is the invite part of the link sE6rKQ6ABN cross play between Xbox PC android & its Free. Also psp and vita.
Elite Squadron and Force Unleashed on PSP were my childhood. They are what made me a Star Wars fan. I was telling their stories to my friends thinking they are canon and important characters. I loved the X2 and X1's story, the Luke on the final scene etc. Also the story of Starkiller was great too. This was a great nostalgia trip for me I played all these games on the video.
I personally thought renegade squadron was SOOOO fun. It was basically bf3 for kid me. The cool maps and customization was dope and playing multiplayer was a blast seeing the different setups and strategy everyone used.
there was a fun glitch where you could run everything without restrictions, when making a loadout then switching the wifi on the PSP, next time you went to multiplayer you had that loadout
I loved playing through Renegade and Elite Squadron as a kid. Such a damn shame they aren’t as appreciated now. I also recently played through The Force Unleashed on the PSP and I wish I played that as a kid and not the PS2 version.
@@justaguy1253 damn should i play the psp version instead? I just got the ps2 one but all these comments about extra content be making me want to play the psp one instead
I was thinking about making a video like that but you already did it much better than I could have ever done it. Great research, footage, editing, commentary and humour. I'm glad to see someone still making content about the PSP with such a good quality. You definitely earned a sub.
When I would go to school in middle school I would always bring my psp and just play the force unleashed in the back.Loved the survival mode they had on it.
I love this channel, I discovered you only a few days ago and Im quickly running through everything. You truly capture in words many of the same feelings I had growing up in the mid 2000s
I just stumbled on this video and you just made a fan, I'm shocked you don't have more subs, this is quality. If the algorithm brought me here I hope it brings others too
The editing and the voice-acting in this video are fantastic. xD I was in stitches the whole time. Someone give poor ol' Yoda a LEGO piece so he can swallow it already!
I’ve been stalking your page as a new fan. I discovered your PSP videos. I loved Star Wars Lethal Alliance. It was super fun to me on PSP, I’m happy someone is talking about it.
Your videos hit harder than top shelf bud. I agree whole heartedly with every assessment you made here. And now not only do I mourn the loss of Battlefront III like everyone else and their mother has for damn near two decades, I also feel the holes in my heart of a proper PSP port for ROTS & LEGO Star Wars
The DS version of Elite Squadron definitely did the story more justice even if it still had a fanfiction-y charm. Its a shame BF3 has gotten canned so many times. We're bound for a third reboot before a proper third entry at this rate.
the DS version of Force Unleashed was super cool, I remember you could pull off all types of moves by combining the different powers on the touch screen and those boss battle were sick. haven’t see it in years tho so I hope my shades aren’t tinted lol
Found this because I found lethal alliance while tidying up, awesome video. My favourite thing about Elite Squadron was the seamless transition between space and ground combat you had. Like, fight your way through tie fighters, head toward the death star landing bay, loading screen, YOU ARE IN THE DEATH STAR. Mindblowing, I tell you.
I remember owning Battlefront 2 and the first Lego Star Wars game on the PSP and being blown away at the concept of having these on the go. Always wanted Lethal Alliance and Elite/Renegade Squadron but for one reason or another, not actually getting them. Great retrospective, you genuinely had me laughing out loud throughout the video! Love the humor, consider me subscribed.
I hope they do a collection of the PSP Battlefronts. That was my one disappointment about the announcement was that they didn’t also include Elite Squadron and Renegade Squadron
Love your videos, been watching them since I found you with this one a couple hours ago. Definitely a channel deserving more views, before subbing I noticed your average views and subscirber count, couldn't believe it was so low as this kind of content usually gets in the thousands of views territory easily. But don't give up, keep it up man and it'll blow.
You didn’t mention that Renegade Squadron was also included with the PSP slim that I had. It was white and had a darth vader graphic on the back. I loved that thing.
And if you preordered the game, you got a exclusive Han in carbonate PSP carry case. I still have and use it while caring my Vita all these years later.
My grandpa found a PSP in the park with battlefront and force unleashed disks. We had a great time playing together. He passed away a while ago and the best memory I have of him is trying to beat count dooku over and over with him. I lost that PSP and I would pay thousands to get it back.
I used to play Elite Squadron a TON as a kid. The multiplayer was honestly amazing. I don't think I ever touched the story because none of what you showed here looked familiar at all lmao
Oh wow. I remember some of those games that I played when I was young (The Star Wars games I had on the PSP are: Star Wars Battlefront 2, Star Wars: Lethal Alliance, Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron). Man those were the old times.
lethal alliance may not be essential star wars gaming but its pretty close to it. i’m playing it now for the first time and i’m thoroughly surprised with what it has to offer. its a very cool game and easy to pick up, hard to put down.
Nice video, in fact this reignited my interest in Star Wars games and I feel the urge to play Lego Star Wars The Clone Wars III on my PS3, anyways keep up the good work.
It's unbelievable that the only star wars games that mom bought me when I was a kid were Revenge of the Sith, Battlefront 2 and Force Unleashed. Just wow.
Man Elite Squadron was fun. Had made friends with a couple people who shared a website that had modded save games where you could literally have any weapon you wanted. Like X2’s Clone Hero Blaster, a Lightsaber, one of the Vehicles laser turret, force powers and many more I cannot remember as a regular soldier. It was such a fun time.
Absolutely loved Force Unleashed and Elite Squadron on the DS, until I lost my Elite Squadron cartridge years and years ago. Wish I could play it again, I miss that game.
Dude I could’ve sworn The Complete saga for PSP existed, when I was little I was looking for it and I think some game store had it with a little backpack to have the game in travel with the console, now you just made me question I’d it was a dream or me hallucinating it when Ir instead was the PS3 version
