You don’t take a car to a dealership to get top dollar. You take it there to move it quick and move on. Ryan pays 70-80% every time and usually higher for kids deals. I commend him for his consistency and transparency. Those who have problems with people selling him their cards know at most half the story behind the deal. Unfair judgement. Keep doing what you’re doing, the whole team does a great job!

Ryan is so honest with his customers, numerous times instead of ripping people off and getting cards super cheap he told them that their prices were off, its truly admirable...we need more people like Ryan in the hobby🙌🏻

You guys don’t get it none of Ryan’s deals are scams. He pays 65-80% of comps because of his overhead, traveling costs, and time. He usually does higher for kids and pays more than the seller is asking sometimes to be fair. He’s one of the only honest, true, organized, well run businesses on UA-cam. At most he makes 15% on a deal😂.

I’m a baseball guy, Even tho you don’t do much baseball, I watch every video because of just how genuine you are and how good you treat the kids. You’re a rarity in this world my friend.

If only more (all?) retail owners had your integrity. And your customer service. It is always a pleasure to watch how you deal with buyers and sellers. But more than that how you talk to the kids. That will keep them interested in the hobby.

At least he buys and looks at cards! And buys alot of stuff others wouldn't even bother looking at which is great for the collector/seller because sometimes cash flow is better than a card that will take forever to sell. And as a pawn shop owner in the past he pays quite strong given the risk/time to sell/space in showcase, he takes on the cards. Id be interested to know if someone comes up with 1000 cards do you comb them all? And do you buy slabs or only unless they are 10s at a good price or a possible crossover? These are my favorite vids 🫡

People need to keep in mind this usually only happens when the camera is on. I tried to approach him at the MINT card show in las vegas to do a deal with him. Nobody was around him, camera man a good 60 to 80 ft back and he wouldnt even acknowledge me . After i said hey whats up Ryan he grabbed his phone with blank screen on, acted like he was on it and did a complete 180. As someone who got back into the hobby in 2018 i had followed him from pretty close to the beginning. No hate here, he does good things for kids in the hobby and in his videos. He's definitely built up something very impressive. Just know going in if he doesnt know you that there is a good chance he will totally ignore you if the camera isnt rolling.
I was curious about this with the intro. If Ryan himself has his hands on the editing piece or if he truly is genuine and his team is showing his kind hearted best side. I’ve never met him though. Man I’m hoping it’s not a little man complex 😅I’m hoping he’s a good dude when the cameras off but who knows. I have no idea!

Stop by anytime, would love to say hey. You watch our videos, you know these comments have never popped up, ever. First one in ALL the videos we’ve ever done? He’s looking for attention, it’s unfortunate he needed to drag my name to do that but won’t be the last time someone does it.
Last year in Atlantic City when my wife and I were leaving the Card Talk Live event we ran into Ryan and Regina outside by themselves no camera no nothing. Me being me I was going to just go on my way because I didn’t want to bother Ryan. My wife stopped and started talking to Ryan. He introduced himself and talked for a couple of minutes about a whole bunch of stuff. He, and Regina, both seemed genuinely interested in what we were saying. Even though he looked exhausted he took a couple of minutes out of his day to chat. I think to blast someone who is genuinely great for the hobby is unfair.

Tyson - thanks for commenting. Based on comps looked to be around $3500-$3600 sales but couldn’t find one. Either way, sad i missed original release so was excited to get a few from a great collector!

I would be hesitant to buy or trade with kids. Never know if a parent will say you ripped the kid off (even if you don't)
1000% fair feedback. We are super cautious, I promise. At kids tradenight, we ask parents (who are there) if it’s ok. Always gotta be cautious !
