This is fascinating. I work in tech. I first experienced outsourcing about 15 years ago and it was with an Indian company. So I spent about 8 years or so working with Indian devs and their managing company. I even spent some time in India.
And everything he describes has been my experience about 95% of the time and I've found it absolutely mind blowing. This explains everything I've observed. Zero pride in work, constant throwing people under the bus, outright lying about abilities and experience both on resumes and in person and the most covering of your ass I've ever seen. It's completely consistent with 95% of Indians I've worked with. I've worked with many other people from all over the world and never seen anything like it with any other nationality.
I remember being in India (also, the public shitting is a very real thing), and we were staying at a very nice 5 star hotel. One day, there was a worker doing work on the ceiling in the main lobby. He was on a ladder and had a power tool that would cut drywall sitting beside the ladder on the floor. Instead he was using a hammer to hack away at a hole in the ceiling. I also stayed in 3 different rooms in that hotel. All outlets were in randomly different locations in the rooms and most let out sparks when you plugged anything in...
When he was describing the plumber, I thought of this...

Why has this happened and how do outliers like him develop? I know that this is a Libertarian RIght-WIng society but I would counter the example of Indians in this video with one area of India: Kerala. And its run by the communist party, weirdly enough. In the west (and eastern europe) communism is often accused of destroying the moral fiber of people ("until you run out of other peoples money," etc) but in this case it seems to have done the opposite. Streets are cleaner, social services kinda run, corruption is lower, etc.
Maybe some people simply cannot function in a capitalist or more importantly perhaps civilized/western economy? See Africa as well, the tribal people are actually doing better and better through mutual aid while large societies fall apart. With some exceptions like Rwanda that are ran like complex interconnected tribal hierarchies.
Im not looking to debate, just bounce some ideas. Hope youll engage! cheers.
Check this for a casual source if you wish. There's actually a comment in there that says "Business doesn't work as well In Kerala because there is no corruption" which I find a bit funny. reddit.com/r/Kerala/comments/190lgw5/indian_corruption_index/

I spent 14 years living in South America. This speaker's description of India is accurate for the culture in which I lived. There certainly might be situations where the police show apathy. But you have to realise that conservative families prohibit the girls/women from venturing out alone even during day times in some parts of rural India. But the situation is certainly not the same in the metropolitan cities with a lot of girls/women in the workforce.
There is this unwritten rule of avoiding certain areas of trouble and/or troublesome people and going to the police is the last resort.
It is unfortunate that you hold an unsolved cold case memory that seems to be bothering you.
Unfortunately Eastern cultures, especially in India do not prefer to talk about controversial topics unless of course there is a big time profit angle to the same.
Just to give you some advice. You ought to research the number of rapes that are either not reported or hushed up involving sports athletes in USA schools/colleges to prevent a generational reputational damage to the school sports program. Sports is big time money in the USA. NCAA sports is as big as it gets in college sports anywhere in the world.

Correct. The transformative power of Christ first built the morality structures and value system that permeates the western mind today.

other than his western outfits and his spewing of hatred towards India ......i actually don't see any ideas coming from Mr. Bhandari.....not a single idea.....lets see about economic, scientific, spiritual, abstract or humanity ......he offers nothing and he has offered nothing to India........but he gained immensely from the country India that he fails to recognize....... i would love to debate him rationally on his morality and rationalism of western ideas and roman Christianity that he love so much.
Jayanth relishes so much in trashing everything about India since he was born in India and had some bad experiences with what he calls Indians....He talks about Hinduism and about how he read Ramayana and Mahabharata and gita.....well he is first of all born into a Jain family and converted to Christianity ( due to his fondness of white culture as well as his own inferiority of anything else that is non-white.....which includes the east asian that he sometimes praises due to the recent economic boom of China and Korea and Japan.)
      1. I don't know what he has to say when so many scientists in the West were burned at the stake or banished for saying the earth rotates around the sun or his favorite Christian Bibble saying god made Adam and Eve ( in the same note Max Muller and others said Indian Hinduism in particular had incorporated the Dasha avatar evolution ) which is forbidden in his Christian teachings. I don't think he ever has an opinion of his favorite whites, Christianity, and their way of life in places like Argentina, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary, and Greece.
      2. I don't think he actually knows the historical facts of how his favorites butchered and forcibly removed food from colonized people.
      3. In India he would never understand how a population of 1400+ millions are living relatively peacefully when compared to the Ukraine war, Balkan wars, internal civil wars and drug wars in many caucasian countries.
      4. He can be psychologically classified as someone who relishes and loves poverty porn.
      5. he relishes greatly in looking at Indians in a derogatory and inferior way no matter what the history of India has actually proven.
      6. he will gladly be an apologist for Churchill created famine in bengal that killed 4.5 million and the partition of India initiated by the British colonial regime as a fallacy of Hindus.
      7. He actually never offers anything constructive such as providing advice, ( which he dismisses blatantly saying it is useless rather than actually trying to think morally of how to improve a situation)
      8. if he is an investor, he does not provide the investing tips.
      9. Every single tweet or interview is full of energy to trash anything and everything about India as a psychologically he cannot relish in anything else to be constructive.
      10. Did he talk about Christianity and the role it had in the 30 year war that killed millions? he probably never ever heard about the 30 years war not does he have any morality in introspecting his own so called rational observations into other white cultures or even question about his own interpretations of civlizational cultures such as India and china and Japan or persia
      11. He often loves to put anything west and anything white to be automatically morally better including the world war 1 and world war 2 and the holocaust.

You are correct, he's waking up a million of them... sadly close to two billion of them remain asleep. I’ve been working in IT alongside these individuals with these exact behaviors as described for over five years and have suffered all of this aggravation and annoyance that comes from dealing with constant lies, gaslighting, and lack of accountability. It’s exhausting to navigate environments where teamwork is a joke and responsibility is consistently avoided.
I feel like these interactions are not just frustrating but genuinely toxic to my mental health. Ignoring it feels impossible, and the constant nonsense gets under my skin every day. Honestly, I feel like I need to see a therapist to deal with all the gaslighting. Is there any advice anyone can give me?

In so few words, I worked on two teams at a FAANG company. Both teams wholly composed of Indians. The betrayal, backstabbing, lying, sadism, and incompetence were terrible. These people literally ruined my career, not figuratively.
The only option is to get away from them and form alliances with Western colleagues. For obvious reasons, many of your Western colleagues are deathly afraid of being seen as racist. Approaching that is, of course, a delicate and idiosyncratic process which, unfortunately, only you know how to navigate, as we are not there with you.
Next, you need to become politically active. And you need to get comfortable with the idea that some cultures are incompatible.
You and I have seen what these people are like. Life is not fair. It is now our duty to protect our peers and fellow citizens.

@@kushjindal2939 I’m in a mid-level position at a large company that relies on a mix of H-1Bs and offshore support staff. While I convinced my boss to fire one sabotaging contractor, another remains. I’m not in an executive role and have no say in the decision to rely on these workers. They act like termites, undermining and sabotaging the entire structure. It’s disappointing to see so many large companies choosing this route. None of these people are given direct authority at the company, but they destroy from the inside like little insects, multiplying and defecating everywhere. Executives thinks it’s fine because they lack official power, but who willingly lets bugs live in their home? To your point, I get that it's not the bugs fault they were allowed in the house, bugs do what bugs do. Responsibility lies solely on the managing committees of these large corporations who allowed the infestation to destroy their companies. Meanwhile, the good-natured Americans still working at these companies are caught up in the destruction, but it’s not our fault.

This behavior in India may fall in what Scott Adams calls "cultural gravity", that will stop people inserted in certains cultures to fly higher.
But now all the countries, including the EUA and the European ones, are becoming like India and other third-world countries (like mine also). What is happening? Why is people becoming less moral?
Professor Olavo de Carvalho attributes this to people becoming simply more dumb, more animalistic, for some reason. Also he talks about the West getting away from Christian morals.
Just as a anecdotal story: my country, Brazil, has been practically invaded by hordes of Venezuelans. The government distributed them.all over the country, and my city in particular got them from an specific indian (native American) tribe. One outstanding characteristic of this tribe is that, according with their moral code, WORKING IS WRONG AND IMMORAL, and being beggars or thieves is cool, honored and manly. It is the biblical teachings and values - not Christianity as a religion - that laid the foundation for and shaped the western civilization and culture. Left to themselves, Westerners are no better than others. But their ancestors embraced the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and the message of the Bible and followed it truthfully. It is the Bible that has transformed the European and the American society. The Bible begins with the affirmation that “God has created human beings in God’s image and likeness” (Genesis 1:26-27). Therefore, every human being has worth and dignity and everyone is equal before God and law. The ancestors of Europeans and Americans were careful to obey the Bible and follow its teachings. Unfortunately, today, their descendants have turned their back on the Bible and Christian faith.
