It seems that all the original interior details, light fixtures, bathroom tile, etc., have been completely obliterated. Why buy a pre-war house that has been "updated" to be just like a new sort of high-end house in Ohio? Ohilo real-estate geniuses think this is essential. The wreck so many wonderful houses with this generic approach.
I believe one of the early owners of this built an exact replica on the west coast and took absolutely everything out of this house to put in there, including the floors lol. It definitely would have been cool to have all the original material preserved, I agree!
I have a very petty comment. The realtor showing the home needs to wear neutral clothing. Her pants are so freaking distracting that I can hardly look away.
