The reason you two are the best cruise vloggers on UA-cam is that you genuinely enjoy every simple cruise moment. Despite cruising so much, you have excitement at every little turn as if it was your first time. I am turned off by vloggers who complain about things.
“Again! Again!” The first two times were nostalgic, and made me smile…The last 20 times made me think I’ll be fine if I don’t hear The Love Boat theme again for another 30 years.
Blowing the princess horn and selling under the Golden Gate Bridge was the most amazing footage ever! I bet it was an awesome experience for both you and the people above you on the bridge! The weather was gorgeous! We love San Francisco.
1982-1983 ABC had the Love Boat followed by Fantasy Island and it was the best TV 'lineup' of its time! 8th grade and 9th grade for me.... so Jay - you are NOT OLD LOL! Glad y'all are enjoying it on the cruise! OH and I make Rice A' Roni - however we spell that... at least once a month!
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series so far and laughed out loud! Loved Jay telling editing Jay to leave all the horn blows in. I agree Jay and thanks editing Jay for following orders! Perfect!😁
Awww the 'Love Boat', so Cool... I would view the show and wish that I could one day cruise, never imagine it would come to be. Thanks editing Jay for leaving the horns in, I crying and smiling... Great memories! 😂
I got such a good laugh from the constant horn going under the bridge. Its free advertising!! Come cruise with us San Francisco!! Thanks for sharing :)
We once had an overnight in San Francisco on California coastal cruise with princess. It was so great to be able to not have to rush back to the ship knowing it was just going to be docked there all night. San Francisco is a great city to visit so much to do!
That was one my favorite videos probably because you were in a different area and not the Caribbean! I loved the horns under the Golden Gate bridge that was actually pretty cool! I see the people up top were enjoying it and waving at you! The Golden Gate bridge sure looks like my Mackinac Bridge here in Michigan!
Visited San Francisco last year and we got on the cable cars at the same place you guys did but we got off at Lumbar st and took pics. It's beautiful lots of hydrangeas Dee you would have loved it.
This one was good👍 I recently did the Ruby from SF. No "love boat" horn, thank God! Can't take it anymore. Yes, WE, need to go back to SF, lot to see and do. I walk a lot, Lombard to Coit Tower (RT). Also closer to their e bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts (a must). Glad you decided to go out for that sail away, it is amazing, and the views on the other side were even better!
When we went to San Francisco many , many years ago we walked all over the place. We walked through golden gate park to Golden Gate Bridge. FYI golden gate park is huge!
Great pictures! Definitely have to do that cruise, looks like you guys had a great day! Thanks for the video, Dee takes great pictures. Wow really miss hearing the Love Boat Theme!
lol Jay "Bonus Points" "horns, winds, prisons", made me laugh and say Oh My. My husband "If Princess always blows the horn that many times I don't wanna go" lol
🤣🤣🤣 I started dying when u said “we are trying to blow cars off the bridge” lmao 😂 but honestly maybe he was having a horn battle wit the ship in front of y’all
Enjoying your Discovery Princess videos. Love that horn…on my Discovery cruise, ship bridge team played it under the Golden Gate bridge in morning also. If you got a horn like that, you got to use it. Was great to see the crew members working the bars, including Lou at Good Spirits, Juan at Princess Live, and Ivan the chief barista at the IC. One of my travel buddies, after her first time, got the Yucatán drink without agave, as with agave, she felt it was too sweet!
The horn music was the soundtrack for the Love Boat song. I am sure someone must have mentioned already. We did the Island Princess Christmas cruise in 1976 Mexican Rivera. Had a blast. My aunt was the cruise queen. They ran a prestigious travel agency in Newport Beach, CA. My parents, good friends of our family plus my sister and I went. My aunt my sister and I inside staterooms on different deck than our parent’s so my dad could be constantly checking up on us. She also had my sister and at different tables for meals. She felt that we could have stayed home if eating together was so important. We sat at a great table with such fun people that everyone loved our group and joined in what ever we were doing. The cruise director’s staff loved us becomes people would join in more activities when we were present. People did more than they might have because we so much fun and wanted to feel. People kept telling us we made the trip so much fun cause they would have never done as much as did on that trip. I hooked with want assistant cruise director and saw him for a number years after that cruise. He said our cruise was just the right mix of people it was such pleasure of cruise for his staff. Those days they were smaller ships. We had great times with her dining staff to who invited myself and a new friend down to their crew Christmas party. We had lots of fun with them too. Great cruise. We 2004 took a Carnival cruise for New Years. It just wasn’t our cup of tea at all. The passengers were totally lacking in their boundaries regarding their behavior. At dinner in the main dinning they would be in bathing cloths and flip flops. Slugged the maiter’d and waiters poured pitchers of water and ladies and threatened to punch anyone who thought they could stop them. The majority of the meals were like this. They - worse ones were removed from by police on the 3 day. Partly because they refused to go up the gangway. The ship was already delayed by almost 1 hr 1/2 waiting for this particular group to come back to the ship. Sad to have groups of people to spoil a whole ship’s enjoyment. I wasn’t a fan of Carnival cruises for reasons and stories had told me. It ended up being worse. My mom and I said last Carnival cruises for us. Others have reported great times. Like you said how food can be subjective even a cruise experience can be subjective. Plus felt she was being “herded” a lot. That included a 2day pre trip bus tour. Herded off the ship and herded back on. Your stops didn’t seem so congested which surprised me for large ships. Enjoying your videos. Funny and great info. You do make this a true working trip. Look forward to more like Oceania or other smaller ships. Maybe some day Antarctic cruise.
Totally amazing as always!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Princess horns!! I was able to catch a horn battle between three of the Princess ships back in January during my Regal cruise. That's the most viewed video on my page. I get chills every time I hear the Princess Love Boat horn. Thanks for keeping all that in your video.
Well shucks, no Rice-a-roni?? Did you happen to see a streetcar named Desire?! LOL! The captain sure wanted to make sure he tooted that horn plenty of times as you went under the bridge. It looked like a great day, and I loved Dee’s enthusiasm as you went through the day there! That bar definitely looks like fun and it was great to experience those special drinks through your video!
@@parodeejay that is too funny! Your day looked perfect there! You guys do such a great job of making the viewers feel like we are right there with you!!
Congratulations, you two saw an awful lot of San Francisco in your short day off the boat. I took the Ruby Princess on both the one-week Mexican Riviera cruise and the over two-week Panama Canal cruise before the Covid problems hit and the one positive aspect that I noticed now is that your ship was much less crowded than when I traveled. I also loved the cocktails from around the world which my trips didn't offer. You both are fun to watch and listen to with upbeat comments and positive outlooks. In other words, you are the perfect travelers. It would be great to have you as fellow passengers. I wish you more fun and safe travels for the rest of your cruise north.
Cruising on the Discovery Princess/California Coast in 4 months. Will be stopping by the bar to try those drinks u both had (minus the pepper one)! Love ur videos!!!
Absolutely spectacular video. Been there many times. You should forward this to Princess. Great marketing. I had cabin on top deck and we sat on balcony as cruised under bridge. AMAZING!
Great episode! Hey Jay, you missed your perfect opportunity. On the trolley, I heard the famous “ding ding.” Mima and I started singing the Ricearoni song. The San Francisco treat! I expect you to join in😉
I love ordering the street tacos & chips with guac. Did the same thing the first time and over ordered. You forgot the obligatory margarita to go with the tacos & chips
Those last couple of notes on the horn are a bit sharp, aren't they? Got to hear it enough times. :) Love the Spirits Bar; I think I'd enjoy that! You really lucked out with the weather and the cable car views! :)
I loved this video! This was an awesome day and the Good Spirits bar would be a spot for me! Can’t remember if you said it or not, but was any of that touring you did via the cruise line excursions or were you just out on your own?
My favorite line of the day: “We’ve got horns, wind, prisons. This is excitement!” 😂😂😂
The reason you two are the best cruise vloggers on UA-cam is that you genuinely enjoy every simple cruise moment. Despite cruising so much, you have excitement at every little turn as if it was your first time. I am turned off by vloggers who complain about things.
I agree 💯 % !!!
I Agree, also!
You do seem like fun people!

That was such an amazing shot I was watching on TV with amazement and truly mesmerized at the scale and beauty of it all!
I love that horn.
That was such a fun video. Good Spirits Bar is great. Loved tagging along.😎
The horns are playing the Love Boat theme! :-P "They are going to blow some cars off the bridge!" 😂😂😂😂
But that horn….the best part of this video
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series so far and laughed out loud! Loved Jay telling editing Jay to leave all the horn blows in. I agree Jay and thanks editing Jay for following orders! Perfect!😁
Cable car ride was so exciting. Felt my stomach sink going downhill
We drove to California from Texas when I was very young child, this vlog brought back memories, we drove on the 'Crookedest Street in the World'
Awww the 'Love Boat', so Cool... I would view the show and wish that I could one day cruise, never imagine it would come to be. Thanks editing Jay for leaving the horns in, I crying and smiling... Great memories! 😂
Yes, you are right about Sean Connery being Scottish, definitely not Welsh😂
Yep, he was born in Edinburgh .
That cable car tour was absolutely amazing I would love to do that.
I got such a good laugh from the constant horn going under the bridge. Its free advertising!! Come cruise with us San Francisco!! Thanks for sharing :)

The acoustics as the ship went under the bridge was pretty cool.
Loved the Love Boat Horn sound!!!

Love San Francisco! Glad you guys had an enjoyable day!

I love that horn!!! Thank you for continuing to let it play.
Love Boat theme horn, surprised Jay wasn't singing to it.
That last note on the ship's horn was painfully flat.😂🤣
Loved the horn footage!
I have watched Lovr Boat when it came out in the 70 and I still watch it on reruns
It is my favorite show because watching it made me interested in cruiseing
I love the horns!!! So cheerful. Glad you included it all.
Visited San Francisco last year and we got on the cable cars at the same place you guys did but we got off at Lumbar st and took pics. It's beautiful lots of hydrangeas Dee you would have loved it.

I loved the horns. It sounded like the theme song of LoveBoat’

Can we even count it as a successful trip to San Francisco if we didn't eat Rice-A-Roni? Booooo!! :P
@@parodeejay that is too funny! Your day looked perfect there! You guys do such a great job of making the viewers feel like we are right there with you!!
Great video and I caught the Ding Dong comment.
I sang the "Love Boat" theme song on every blow😄😄😄

I liked watching Love Boat because of it I got interest in cruising
You do have to return! San Francisco is beautiful. We can have coffee after a toyr around town and the GG
Awesome video! It's been years since I've been to San Francisco. You 2 are the best and most fun creators.
The horn was driving me nuts because they stopped it before .... the love boat!
😂😂😂Dee: Sephora, Jay: Burger King…I am with you Dee. Wonderful vlog😊🚢
OMG that horn!!!!
Arugula comment from part 3 was my favorite!
thanks for the whole horn blow❤
I have that same bridge recording from the Ruby last November. Only 350 people on board, it was so much fun!
This was awesome. 🎉🎉
AMAZING!
Wonderful
Love your uploads - especially as I’m going on the Sky Princess in a few weeks!
You forgot the obligatory margarita to go with the tacos & chips
lmao Holy Hornage!!
Wow, I guess the blowing of the horn while going under the Golden Gate bridge is a thing…but… wow
Lip heat. Wait until the next day. 😂😂😂
Thank You
Going on Enchanted Princess soon. Never been on Princess before and really looking forward to it.
Loch Ness Pac-Man will forever be the name of every see creature I see from here on out.
Thanks for all of the horn footage. Too bad they don't continue the song! That was a lot.
Love San Francisco great city .ps Sean Connery is from Edinburgh definitely not Welsh
I ❤️ America 🇺🇸
You would have like the cable car museum. The motors for the cable cars are in it
All I can say is that guy really likes to toot his own horn!😆😆
GOOD MORNING
Going on a British Isles cruise on the Emerald Princess this August. In Scotland going on an excursion on Loch Ness to look for Nessy
People that live near that horn must be glad when the ship is gone
Crepes are great in San Francisco
Those last couple of notes on the horn are a bit sharp, aren't they? Got to hear it enough times. :) Love the Spirits Bar; I think I'd enjoy that! You really lucked out with the weather and the cable car views! :)
Good morning!
Surprised you didn’t break into song… the love boat 🎶🎼🎵
Was that The Love Boat theme on the horn? Loved the vlog & I’ve love cruising this ship in the past .
Stayed in Tahiti in a hut over the water. The margaritas at the hotel bar were only $30.00 .
You guys are musicians, how did that horn not bother you? 😱
sharing is carrying 😂🤟🥰🤘
Sean Connery is definitely Scottish… he was born in Edinburgh.
I loved this video! This was an awesome day and the Good Spirits bar would be a spot for me! Can’t remember if you said it or not, but was any of that touring you did via the cruise line excursions or were you just out on your own?
Just wandering around on our own the whole day. Such fun!! :D
What was the name of Dee’s drink from Tahiti? Going on Princess in 32 days!!! :)
Vanilla Sky, I believe!!
