Thank you for a great video showcasing what "the Venice of the North" has to offer in ways of architecture, food and culture! Regarding our museums sometimes being dimly lit, it's just a precaution/safety measure to make sure fabrics (and artworks/handwritten inked documents) don't fade due to being exposed to light.
How fortunate you are to now live in such an amazing place. Our youngest (who comes home from Stockholm in a week) would be envious. We can’t wait to go back. We love the shared connections with Palm Springs and art. You might enjoy some of our Tranquil Escapes if you like art. Thank you for watching!
Lets go in Swedish: Lets go! For some reason Sweeds loves to incorporate a lot of English words or phrases in the spoken language! In Swedish it would be : Låt oss gå! But no person say it like that. The nearest would be! Ska vi gå (nu)? With question mark. Shall we go (now)? Also: Kom, så går vi!
Thank you! Terri likes to learn some of the language before we travel somewhere but didn’t have time to learn any Swedish for this trip (she worked on German for munch and Vienna). Thanks for the comment and for watching.
If you are trying to insinuate that it's because "everybody is muslim" or something then it's not true. Less than 10% are muslim. It's just because most swedes are non-religious and only use the churches for concerts, funerals and some weddings.

Thanks for the info on why museums are dimly lit. It’s helpful to know. Be sure to check out Friday’s video which is part 2 in Stockholm.
It is lovely to watch the two of you enjoy my new hometown of Stockholm. As a former Palm Springs resident and art lover we have something in common.

@@ZekeandTerri I will check that out. Thanks

@ZekeandTerri Let's go! = Nu drar vi! = "Now pull we!" = Let us pull away (take our leave) now.
Very few people in a Swedish church? I wonder why. 😂
It was $10 a person to get in so that might have kept tourists out
@ZekeandTerri I don't think you understand the sarcasm. 80-85% of Swedes are atheists or agnostic.

I read somewhere that the percentage of swedes that attend church had actually increased, from 3.8% to a whopping 4.1%!
