what is the point of toprope a route like this? so i imagine you first climb it with the bolts, after you toprope it looking where to place gear and trying every move. and finally u climb it without using the bolts on lead. you know you won't fall, so where is the difference between this and climbing it with the bolts? dude try it on lead and without the bolts from the beggining, and after remove them.
placing gear makes a climb harder than just clipping bolts, plus its better style. climbing a route with equipment that doesn't damage or leave permanent marks on the rock is the way to go
I like the edit between the climbers
Really cool to see them use very different beta throughout the entire crux section. Great video!
What a crazy run out on small gear. AND it was the crux!!!!
Amazing video! So cool to see Gondo crack trad climbed. Cippo is in Switzerland (Wallis) though, not Italy!
No way that #2 at the end would have held lol
just needed so that they had a bit more mental chutzpah for the end hahaha
Amazing TRAD work!!!!!!!
Properly good produced video
