Gamefromscratch unbelievable but you need to check out Game Kit Controller, as for graphics with the right set of assets you can make a beautiful game with unity
Gamefromscratch did you know if there is a version to run in VR?
About the license:
"Some components of the project are governed by licenses other than the Asset Store EULA; see ThirdPartyNotices.txt in package for details about each component."

So most things are released under the Unity Asset Store EULA.
very nice assets from unity!
Will certainly be useful for those who wants realistic nature assets!
I really hope this is under a license which would allow it to be used in Godot to showcase its graphics potential as well
Thomas Maier booo

In the Keynote they said it was free to use in your games. In the editor it ran at 40 fps in play 30 fps
*2:35** bro how you get these objects ? Pleease make a tutorial*
They need to do something about that UI is getting a little bit old.
Yeah I agree with this, the UI certainly feels date, especially contrasted against Unreal Engine.
2020 will be such an interesting game... or ahould i say 2021?? if next gen consoles release at fall 2020. But its soooo far away, its crazy!!! Im not sure if its good knowing stuff this soon... its a double edge sword
Unity has come along way and that looks realy good, but I still think unreal has the upperhand since it looks better then that out of the box and the editor is also nicer to use in my opinion
johny main yes, UE4 does have a learning curve and that is what drives dome people away from it, but I don't think just implementing ECS and opening the render pipe line is going to make it better than UE4. On the point of "if you know c# than it is not that hard to make good games", that goes both ways, c++ is just another language and if you take the time to learn it you can do the the same as in c# and more. I think the whole UE4 is bad because it uses c++ is just a excuse because people don't like change and adapting to other things. I was the same way.
I know people like comparing UE4 to Unity and how the two handle small devs but they each target different audiences UE4 is more focused on high end AAA games and larger game dev studios and Unity is focused on indie devs and smaller teams. Yes, you can make a good AAA quality game with Unity, but it is just a lot harder to do so than it is in UE4, because that was not it's main focus. The Unity team is trying to branch into the AAA market hence the new performance and graphical updates, but it will need more inorder to compete with UE4.
This asset is deprecated now, but I don't know why tho.
Of course running it on my computer with the GTX 1070 is no problem, but I was seriously interested, if my 7 years old laptop can run it with it's GTX 660M 2GB graphics card and quess what, yes it does! I only need to lower the resolution to 1366x768 because of the low VRAM. And do you know what? This uses actually physically based rendering so what for should we buy an overpriced RTX Nvidia graphics card, when we can get the perfect results also on the old technology?!
How to install and play it. It's so fucking confusing and nobody is helping.
Beauty
Mike, could you please show your PC setup that you use to Unity, Unreal, etc.? I'm about to buy a new PC, I'm currently using just a mac to dev and facing a lot of problems with Unity or other engines, even in pure OpenGL samples, so I'm switching to PC to get a high performance.
It didn't only fail miserably, it also deleted my scene((
Can you please tell me how to import it I'm getting errors and im new to this. Step by step would be nice
Download 2018.2 and import in into an 3d template project that's it !
Did you mean to say blender at 0:18? xD
Can you tell I've been using Blender a bit too much lately ... ;)
Gamefromscratch Haha happens sometimes :D Great video anywsys haha! x)
Anyone can tell if you press X to delete something in program other than blender.
unity and high graphic wow this is impossible but you did congratulations
It is so easy to make high graphics game on unity
Is there a way to use some of these assets for VR?
How can we transfer individual assets to our own projects?
Did you ever figure something out for this? I am so baffled. I am able to import all the trees and things but... they are just pink texture-less messes..
how do you switch to player movement, tab doesnt work
How well would this run on an RTX 3060?
Can I run
Intel i5 8gen 8 core
Gtx 1050 4GB
SSD
Breaking news I run it with i5 7gen, GTX 1060 3Gb and regular HDD and run perfect. The details are amazing!!!
Can I use it for commercial???
Can this be used in the stander rendering pipeline hdrp lags a lot
hey man ive been using gamemaker for a long time now, and i want to start publishing however i cant afford the publisher edition. So i want to use unity what is the best way to learn unity?
Whitspeak godot is much better for 2D
There are some great courses on udemy
www.udemy.com/unitycourse2/
watch brakeys videos
Using uniity 2020 Lts and I am failing everytime.
how do i do i delete the files off my computer?
looks pretty good. Still prefer to use Unreal tho
Can i use these assets in my own game or is that stealing
its free for commercial use
Is there a way to convert those assets so that I can use it in UE4?
Think they said in the Keynote that later this year there will be a back and forth FBX pipeline to 3D applications such as Max and Maya. That may provide a way for some of these. Not sure though about the vegetation. Up to now they were Speedtree.
