@@AdrianWcan’t wait. Some of the best parts of this game is finding new tools and gear to help you out. Just wait until he finds Moonveil, or Rivers of Blood. I’m just waiting until you find the night comet shard.
King 👑, check episode two. I left a comment that should be very helpful. I know a lot about the game bc I have played and beaten it 3 times, working on the 4th rn. The comment should help both you and the other king👑 adrian. I don’t know if I mentioned this in my last comment, but in caelid (upside down looking area) there is a town called sellia, you were in it and opened the seals there. Adrian can get the Night shard spell, one of the best in the game, there, as well as lusat’s staff behind a boss arena. Also, Azur’s staff, which you picked up this episode makes casting spells faster at the cost of FP.
@@AdrianWwelcome to Eden ring bucko its gonna be a painful ride just wait till you have to fight morgott or radahn you are gonna wanna kill yourself garneted also blood hounds fang is busted keep using it
This series is amazing! Although I have a couple of tips that you need to hear. 1. Memory stones gives you more spell slots so you can use more and stronger spells. 2. You can see “holes” on the map sometimes. They are like black dots with an orange outline. These are mines, and they’re essential for finding smithing stones to upgrade your weapons. Right now it seems like you’re pretty underleveled when it comes to your weapons smithing tier. So go to one of these caves and then go to the Roundtable hold to upgrade.
The scroll can be given to someone who teaches soceries to expand their catalogue of spells available. So make sure you check those spells out. 27:00 also waffle is actually on to something, a bookshelf right before that boss has some special stuff behund it.
by the way there are 3 illusionary walls in the academy. 1. when you eneter the academy right after going throght the main gate go to the right side and hit the wall there. it will open a new litle room with a item. 2.second wall is a boockshelf that is located at the exit of the Schoolhouse Classroom site of grace to the left in a room with a chest in it as well, the bookshelf is in the midle of the room 3.another bookshelf is right before the entrance to the red dog bos to the left from the stairs plus after the red dog boss when wxeting the room you can go to the right and jump down to a balcony and after folowing the path you will get a talisman that increases casting spell speed.
I love this elden ring playthrough because I saw this video was out and beat these bosses for the first time before watching it. And now I am laughing at them struggling at the bosses that I just figured out how to beat! Love this elden ring series
You can buy frostbite spells from Selevus past Caria Manor. Frostbite and bleed together are Overpowered, even against magic resistant enemies like rennala and the red wolf. The best upside to sorceries is the variety that you have. There are so many types of sorceries in Elden Ring that you will never be disappointed with what you can choose from. There’s Crystal Magic, Glintstone Magic, Carian sword spells (like that carian greatsword you got), Gravity sorceries, Night Magic, full moon magic, frostbite, aberrant, death sorcery, Magma, clayman sorcery, Loretta’s sorcery, and lastly, the most powerful type of sorcery, Primeval Sorceries. The near part is, you can even combine most of these magic types into a single build and utilize them to their max efficiency. Magma can reset frostbite to re-afflict it for maximum damage, Loretta’s sorcery is excellent for long range damage while Carian sword spells are literally perfect for close range, the best of these being Carian Slicer. And the best part is, it’s entirely up to you. You can choose a spell because it’s useful, powerful, interesting, pretty, or just fun. That’s the point of the game, to make things fun in the best possible way.
around stormveil castle, you can find a dude named rogier, he sells decent spells. also try to find pope turtle, if you give him the royal house scroll he can give you good spells
while double-handing a weapon, your strength is effectively multiplied by 1.5, which works for strength requirements as well, also, many ash of wars have a follow-up attack with either light attack, heavy attack, or both.
Here is a tip don't fight rykard now he is a very tanky boss and his damage can kill you in one shot You should fight radan the one below rykard in that website he is much easier because you can spawn npcs to fight with you and if they die you can spawn them again and he has lower health than rykard to find him you gotta go to altus plateau you don't need to explore it just go there get one grace ( bone fire ) then go to the bridge that leads to his castle you are going to find a teleporter use the teleporter you are going to be in the castle then walk a bit you are going to find a grace next to a door go inside the door you going to see npcs talk to the one that is welcoming you then he is going to begin the festival of radan then walk unitl you find an elevator once the elevator stop's you are going to see a teleporter use it and now you are fighting radan
Here is a tip go to the lake that inflicts scarlet rot in Caelid and there will be ruins around the western side of it and if you go down stairs and open a door there will be a spell where you throw rocks that magic users are not resistant to and it is one of the best spells only 18 int also nearby there is a meteorite staff that boosts gravity sorceries or something which will make the rocks stronger and it has good scaling it is on a dead body hanging out a window
1. You should go to the Waypoint ruins (if you havent already.) Beat the boss in there and once done you'll get access to an npc that will sell you spells if you find scrolls (Academy Scroll, Conspectus scroll & Royal house scroll.) and you have to give these scrolls to that npc or a npc that can sell you spells. 2. WaffleTime should go to the Stillwater Cave which is right beneath the first grace after Godrick's grace, in the side of the cliff below should be a cave. The reward for beating the boss inside will give him a talisman that boosts his attack with each consecutive attack which will be amazing for him since i bet he's not gonna switch off melee! (I'm only trying to be nice and helpful, i'am very sorry if someone finds this rude or impolite i'am very sorry! 🙏)
You should go get the royal house scroll and give it to a sorcery teacher to get arguably the best spell in the game for 1500 dollars Also you can drop things go find it in inventory, then left click and select leave
bro when you kill a boss he gives you his remembrance, go to the round table there is an old lady and a big two fingers besides her, give her the remmbrance and you can get the boss weapon
To drop weapons, go to your inv(not equipment menu), tab over to weapons, select the weapon you wanna drop, and click LEAVE. Don’t use discard, that deletes the item
i don't know if you guys already know this but if you see a fire ring on the map near that academy thing go in and kill the boss inside! it gives a bell bearing that you can give to the twin maiden at the roundtable hold and you can then buy unlimited smithing stone 1 and 2 to upgrade your weapons
Word of advice, head back to the roundtable hold and find Finger reader Enia to use the remembrances you get from certain bosses to get their weapons or skill.
10:51 - 12:49 Here's some small advice, those big tanky guys kept spawning in because of the ones ringing their bells. In short, To avoid those big guys, go for the little ones with the bells first!
There's a really good Talisman for mages. if you head to the right of the door exiting the Red Wolfs boss room. it should lead you to the roof of the boss room.
Hey Adrian you should get rid of your shield and put your staff in your left hand and hit LB or L1 to use your magic so in your right hand you can always have your rapier in your hand instead of changing between weapons

The reason why you aren’t doing enough damage is because your staff is under leveled and you’re using weaker spells. I’m not sure about spells, but to level up the staff you go to the blacksmith with smithing stones and runes
Make sure to visit sellen to unlock more magic. Also get rock sling so you can deal physical damage with magic. That will help you with the boss renalla and ever that resists magic
The mimic you guys won’t be able to get unless you speed run the next like 4 areas. However I believe you can get rock sling and the gravity staff in Calied (Red sky place) in the water. You can also light the rest of the torches with blue fire you did in your last video to fight the boss/double boss so you can get a +S tier staff.

you can use the ash of war (weapon art) of bloodhound fang multiple times (x2) plus there is no need to meet the strength requirements if it says that the player is able to double hand it
Two handing your weapon increases weapon damage, and you can collect smithing stones to use to upgrade your weapons, staffs and seals to deal even more damage
Lusats glinstone staff is considered the best staff in the game it’s located in caelid sellia town of sorcery were you light the candles to open barriers it’s obtained after killing a boss at the top left of the town on the map
You HAVE to get rock sling and the meteorite staff it is probably the best early - mid game spell and staff for mages as it does physical damage instead of magic damage and most bosses have high magic resistance they're both in found in caelid
since you are speccing into intelligence you should try out the moonveil katana, pretty cool skill that has abit of range and you can have a decent melee weapon at the same time. also you can use melee weapon on your right hand and staff on left hand and be able to cast spells with your staff while having a melee weapon. meteorite's staff and rock sling are good early game staff and spell which can be found in caelid near the sellia tunnel site of grace that you have already unlocked.
this is an older video and I know the series is already finished, just hasn't been uploaded yet, but I guess here's some info for any new players: I see you're using the Clarifying Horn Charm talisman, the one that says it raises Focus, that doesn't mean what you think it means. It doesn't actually raise your Focus Points, it raises the defense stat called Focus, which is your resistance to sleep and madness (and won't help you throughout 95% of the game.) It tripped me up when I first saw it, but it's actually kinda useless (there are very few enemies that cause Madness, and I haven't seen a single one that causes Sleep. I'm sure they exist, but I've never seen one.) The Cerulean Amber Medallion is the one that increases FP.
btw the reason why you deal like no damage against raya lucaria enemies every enemy type has a set amount of resistances to damage types the damage types are Strike, slash, pierce (physical) fire magic lightning holy and I think I might be forgetting one off the top of my head so for instance, a WIZARD would have high magic resistance or a tree would have low FIRE resistance that might help if you for some reason browse past episode comment sections
Love the playthrough! Maybe you should try getting the Night and Flame Sword which I remember being a little op but really fun to use, specially for magic
when you dont have enough stats to use the weapon you can still equip it and use it but you dont deal as much damage and i believe you cant use the ash of war
I have tip for Adrian: there ruin in caelid call :rock staff: is staff that is like rock is good intelligence in magic damage mid-game or early in second there another ruin I think is call ‘rock sling’ is spawn 3 of them in shot at enemy with lock on is doe not have far range but is stagger them easy

hey Adrian, if you see this, you should really get the moonveil katana. It's specifically great for mages! it's locked behind a boss though so but if you both switch its agro you should be able to kill it. also, for waffle I'd recommend him get the bloodflame build buff that's great for samurai, if you would like he should also get the nagakiba.
Just advice from me don't take it if you don't wanna but rn, waffletime has a amazing weapon for dex called the bloodhound greatsword, and you need to try and find The Royal House Scroll can be found in a small encampment to the east of the Agheel Lake South Site of Grace in Liurnia of the Lakes, and give it to Carian, then you can buy Carian Slicer from Sorceress Sellen for 1500 Runes, it's a great up close mage spell that cost very little mana to cast and is great for most situations, and if you go back to the wolves arena and go outside and to the right you can drop down and find a ladder leading to the top ropes of the arena and find a chest, it will have a amazing artifact that makes your spells cast faster or cost less i don't remember. have fun you two come back for more advice if you need it.

Just advice from me don't take it if you don't wanna but rn, waffletime has a amazing weapon for dex called the bloodhound greatsword, and you need to try and find The Royal House Scroll can be found in a small encampment to the east of the Agheel Lake South Site of Grace in Liurnia of the Lakes, and give it to Carian, then you can buy Carian Slicer from Sorceress Sellen for 1500 Runes, it's a great up close mage spell that cost very little mana to cast and is great for most situations, and if you go back to the wolves arena and go outside and to the right you can drop down and find a ladder leading to the top ropes of the arena and find a chest, it will have a amazing artifact that makes your spells cast faster or cost less i don't remember. have fun you two come back for more advice if you need it.
your playing the best classes in game adrian is playing 2nd best but waffle is playing best

Actually the next boss you should face is Radahn. Rykard is a very difficult boss and should be faced mid to late game.
