There are cases where momentum is the only way to get safely through ice, as can be demonstrated when the two semis sliped sideways (e.g. they had zero speed). The key is to know how to drive on ice and have the right equipment, and if you don't know that and have the right equipment, DON'T DO IT. Pull over and call for help from someone who has the knowledge and is prepared. It's actually quite easy to drive on ice if you are prepared and have the knowledge.
Ticket all of these people unless they're having an actual emergency. If you're going to wallyworld for a video game and do this you deserve to appear in court. STAY HOME
Not a single driver comprehends that they need drive on snowy part of the road to have some grip not raw ice. In these cases u don’t care about lanes u make lanes where it makes sense because road marks ar long hidden…
The recivers have big fines for late trucks , No exceptions. It's like $200 if your an hour late . And if your really late it might be several days when your rescheduled. States should have a law that prohibits recievers and shippers from charging fines in inclimate weather.
Professional truck drivers at its highest level.😅Slow down for conditions, get off the road if not comfortable. The fmcsa has to make it difficult to get a cdl.Anyone right now with 2 arms&2 legs &half a brain(or less) can pass the test
Mississippi here. This is why I haven’t left my house in days. Heck my driveway is dangerous right now lol yikes
Looks like a negligence from whoever is in charge of the roads for not putting salt on the road.
Im actually out here now pulling a tanker I had to pull over and called it an early day, not worth my life or someone else life.
A lot of green card drivers never seen snow much less pulled a 53' trailer on ice.
I go to Gardendale every month. This is pretty disturbing to see!
Repairs and insurance hike will cost you more than you make in a month.
Im a little North of Nashville.. Naw my Semi gona stay right here!!!
Ppl must absolutely hate being at home…
If You See A Fire Truck Having Some Issues With Icy Roads , Then That Should Tell You Just Go Park It , Plain & Simple
this is why I don't drive cross country during the winter months

Driving slower don't work on ice

Watching ice road truckers is messing up some of these so called truckers
At least on Ice Road truckers they run the correct tires for the road condition. All these trucks are just running cheap hwy tires.
Why don't they pour reagents on the road? In Russia, the road services are monitoring this.

Why do people insist on driving on icy roads?! Pull off an exit and find a hotel instead of thinking you can make it to where ever you are going to!

👇This is specifically why nobody should be on the road
I would put on chains to get me to the trucker stop
State should have closed the roads .They dont treat them or have any plows .
Maybe some year Alabama DOT will learn how to take care of the roads instead of lining the Gov. Ivey's pockets with $$$$$$$$$
