Made this for dinner tonight. Was very delicious. So happy you shared this recipe. My meatballs were rather misshapen but turned out well!
Glad you liked it!! Much love :)
@@SpainonaFork We have tried three other recipes of yours and really enjoyed them. I am going to make your classic lentil stew tonight. Thanks for what you do!
My wife and I made this this other day. Even with tuna packed in water (we poured a little olive oil into it to add flavor) it is delicious. I really appreciate how this recipe requires a small number of easy to obtain ingredients and only a couple minutes of preparation time, but tastes like something from a fancy restaurant. I would highly recommend.
So happy to hear that! Much love :)
Theywill do nicely sir Mmm tonight maybe thanks Albert .. 👍😋
Thanks for the comment Rog :) much love

Another great recipe. My thirteen month old has hit that point where she wants to pick things up and feed herself and she loves tuna so these kinds of recipes where she can just grab a chunk of food and feed herself are brilliant (of course she makes a heck of a mess! 😂)
lol....thanks for the comment David :) much love!

Yummy yummy, I made these tonight. The flavor explosion was incredible. They fried up perfectly and held together in my sauce. I can see this for a main meal or making them smaller for tapas. Thank you from Los Angeles again.

Hello wonderful Chef!! Wow they looks so saucy and delicious!! Such a unique and great recipe!! My first time hearing of tuna meatballs!! Thank you for sharing, a big like for you as always!! Have a safe blessed new week with your family, see you soon my talented friend!! :D
Thank you so much
Every video of yours proves how crappy our diet is here in the states (not ALL, nobody get offended). Up until recently tuna was used for tuna casserole or tuna fish salad sandwiches. I have always been told only tuna packed in water never in oil. But all the dishes where you use tuna it is always packed in Spanish olive oil, looks amazing. They are “chunks” of tuna not the mushy stuff I have seen here. For that reason there is (at least in water) there is only one brand I will buy sold in one store chain. I plan to make an effort to expand my tuna recipes thanks to you. Be Safe and Blessings! 🌹🌹🌹
Thanks for the comment :) much love
We are gonna cook these meatballs. Looks delicious!

Hi Albert. I made these yesterday. They turned out so well. I put the meatballs in the fridge for a hour before cooking just to help give them a better shape. But overall the whole dish was gorgeous. Served with pasta but next I think I will use rice. Gracias amigo 😀
Glad you enjoyed the dish :) much love Paul!

U really make healthy food look good, xxx
Appreciate the comment Karen :) much love
These tuna meatballs really look delicious and it's a gorgeous dish too! :)
Thank you 😋
This recipe is delicious! Two things, friends:
1. Leave the recipe as is, simple, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, tomato sauce. Mexican oregano took away from this dish. (2 T minced green bell peppers added to tuna mixture turned out great. ) 👩🍳
2. Cold leftover tuna meatballs mashed on toast with coffee for breakfast IS definately a thing! 😋
For my fellow folks in Texas, the meatballs should be about hail size.
God bless Texas!!!! much love from Spain :)
WOW.....who new, tuna meatballs, gota try this.
Thanks for the comment Tim :) much love
great share 👌👌👌
Thank you so much 🙂
Thanks 🌹 u bro

Thanks for the comment Booger :) have a great weekend!
Wow, I loved this recipe, I love anything done with tuna, can I use regular paprika? I don't find spanish paprika here, thank you
Yes, absolutely! much love :)
Saludos todos. Lo pruebo hoy.
Que aproveche! saludos :)
Excelente receta, gracias. Puedo sustituir pan molido por algo? Puedo usar tomate rayado?
Puedes sustituir el pan molido por harina, y tambien puedes usar tomato fresco para hacer la salsa :) un saludo!
looks great and will try to make this dish-have attempted 2 times to make the Spanish Tortilla and it kind of messed up-first time the pan was too big so the tortilla came out like a pancake and recently I left the tortilla too long on one side so it stuck and fell apart. Determined to get it right!!!!
Yes making a tortilla takes some practice....but you will get it!!!!! thanks for the comment :) much love
Caren Dancer. I don't know what kind of stovetop you use but I highly recommend gas range. It can make a big difference when making the tortilla.
@@BennyBoxx yeah, we are stuck with electric and I realize this affects my cooking.
It’s in my pan, but in a form of a burger. Let’s see how it tastes
Edit: amazing! I love it!
So happy you enjoyed it!!! thanks for the comment :) much love
Hola, esto parece delicioso, sin embargo ,prefiero albondigas de carne, por favor una receta ?gracias👍😊
Doing this fabulous dish tomorrow, but one question: What can I serve with it? My husband for sure is going to ask for a side dish, maybe rice or spagetti? Need your opinion, please and thank you
Serve over some pasta :) much love!
Wondering if I can take white albacore tuna in water stain it and add California extra virgin olive oil to it.
Absolutely! much love :)
Yummy balls
Thank you 😋
yo bro...u made simple thing became super f*cking deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelicous...bravah!
Thank you! much love :)
I just made it, delicious. But it's a bit difficult handling the tuna balls, they are delicate.
If they where to watery, try adding more breadcrumbs, glad you enjoyed the dish! much love
Do you have any ideas involving canned sardines?
Yes I use and eat canned sardines all the time, stay tuned for future videos :) much love
Can these Tuna Balls be frozen?
Thank You!
Yes! Much love :)
amazing recipe , love the color , a vivid seafood lover your dishes are so fresh and awesome , keep cooking and giving us awe, seafood cravers and players , liked and subscribed your channel video after seeing it , keep supporting
nice Recep brother
Great recipe as always. I think the tuna could even benefit from some heat either hot smoked paprika or some Chilis 😁. Keep up the good work , I'm gonna be trying this soon.
absolutely! adding heat here is totally a good thing! thanks for the comment, much love
What can we substitute for eggs? Got several cans of tuna in the pantry, but I am not an eggy person. Thanks.
Combine 1 1/2 tablespoons oil, 1 1/2 tablespoons water, and 1 teaspoon baking powder :) much love
Malaga in Spain while Melaka in Malaysia..what is the similar?.. what's it meaning in Arabic?
Can use atún an not tuna??
I see you don't add any wine to this, though you do in some other recipes. I tend to add at least a bit of wine to virtually every savoury dish I cook. Do you feel that's excessive? Would you say the sauce above shouldn't have wine in it, or it's just a matter of personal taste?
Nothing wrong with adding a little wine for a touch of acidity :) much love
Bro im coocink this bc im brokr
If you are going to fry the tuna balls in a shallow flat bottomed pan rather than in a wok, isn't it better to shape the tuna into patties rather than balls. They won't be "tuna meatballs", but what does it matter? Also, it looks like too much tomato sauce, I am sure the dish will be very acidic, keeping in mind that the tuna will be a bit sour too. Can we make the sauce a little runny so that it's less sour (maybe add a hint of sugar to balance things out) and seeps into the balls, and liven it up with spices like coriander and cumin? Finally, can we use cornstarch for binding instead of breadcrumbs? We are not really interested in the crusty texture provided by breadcrumbs, we are merely interested in keeping the tuna balls from disintegrating. Cornstarch is a better binder, so you can skip the egg - helps with people like my mom who loves fish but is allergic to eggs. Is there anyway we can work some vegetables into the sauce so that it'll be a complete meal once paired with some kind of carb - rice / pasta / bread / mashed potatoes?
I know what you are thinking - it won't be "Spanish" tuna meatballs anymore, but a hybrid of multiple cuisines. But think of all those Spanish conquistadors who sailed forth to conquer new lands and gave rise to some gorgeous looking mixed race people by marrying local women. Also Spanish women are so beautiful because of mixing of races in Spain's colorful history. Fusion food is not necessarily a bad thing!
Another Awesome recipe my friend. Stay healthy....... Stay connected. #MomsYummyCooking.
You might want to double-check this video. The audio seemed to be a little over a minute behind the video.
Which doesn't mean I'm not going to try this recipe! Looks delicious.
YES. THESE ARE TASTY, BUT THEY WILL STINK UP YOUR HOUSE!
Might I suggest that "Fishballs" might be more appropriate.
