Alexa is an excellent teacher. All she needs is a more structured lesson. This lesson lacked a strong structure. It appeared a more impromptu lesson. Her videos are very well structured but not her live lessons. But, I still have huge respect for Alexa. She is an extraordinary teacher.

I looked it up after your class Alexa 🙂. It is ecoute-le (not lui) because ecouter doesn't have (á =to) after the verb. English has 'listen to' so I guess that's where the confusion may come from ❤ love your lessons

Negation: we're taught at college with our tutor, Marianne - ne pas 'sandwich with the 'meat', the verb in the middle. Apparently, some students miss out the pas and of course ne and pas are both required. The ne and pas are the 2 pieces of bread.

alexa why do we use leve-nous instead of levons nous
This is going to sound complicated but bear with me.
Now lève is present tense for the subject "on". "On" is mostly used to describe we. However the "nous" in "lève-nous" is not a subject pronoun, it is a disjunctive pronoun. "Nous" and "vous" often recycle itself for various pronouns. "Nous" is a disjunctive pronoun for "on".
