I love how they made it RWD/rear engined. If only it had the styling similar to the Mk1 Twingo I would buy one in an instant, seems like it would be a fun toy and from the looks of it it would be dead easy to drop the entire rear end out if you ever needed to do a rebuild

Air curtains for the front of the wheel wells, double vented front fenders, massively vented hood, nasty front splitter with center tunnel feed, additional wing canards at the lower rear bumper, and I'd bet the house on a flat floor and proper rear diffuser. Why do folks who go off at Adenauer almost always re-enter the track over the steep curb - often causing more underside damage - instead of proceeding to the end of the curbing?
I would say a combination of adrenaline / embarrassment / not knowing the curbs, in the moment all they want to do is return to the track and continue as normal as if nothing happened.
maybe you can't see where the curb is from the grass

That red R34 spitting flames was so cool
that Civic at 11:45 is why we have mandatory driving lessons on a skid pad in Norway, and even learned to brake without ABS, so you don't just lock up and go straight ahead, it saved my ass driving an old Buick on ice, even with studded tires I wasn't able to stop, but pumping the brakes instead of locking them stopped me faster, and I was able to turn and avoid hitting the car that had come to a stop.
hah! and at 15:55 that's a prime example of what happens when you lower a E30 too much, when the rear wheels as.. well... some Norwegians used to say "spread the rear wheels like a prostitute" :P
But basically it has the rear driveshafts at an angle instead of going straight, which can cause some issues, and the car no longer lets you know when it's about to let go, and suddenly you find yourself racing against the rear end of your car and which end should be going forward first, it's often why you can spot guys in lowered BMWs losing control. (It's why quite often the fastest guys in an E30 almost look as they haven't lowered their car.)

When fantasy meets reality.
People really need to learn the reversing J turn to recover from facing the wrong way. Makes it a 1 point turn that's already going in the right direction. We don't always do em in the real world because you might be backing into oncoming traffic or a ditch, or a parked car, but none of that is a factor here.

Another great video on why not to go try this track. These weekend drivers have no idea what to do when the car skids. Most people just step on the brakes, grip the steering wheel tightly and pray that the car doesn't break down. I regularly attend driving training courses, they should do the same!
