Electric bicycles and scooters need battery stations exchangers to give longer distances while out riding where you can exchange all batteries , all day half day long weekend rides etc even holidays and that would make perfect sense .
I have one these mopeds for about a year and a half. It was fun--until it quit working. The battery will not hold a charge, the front brake needs adjustment and drive system no longer functions. When I attempt to start out the moped makes a “chuggachugga” sound and will not take off. It used to take right off as soon as I twisted the throttle. Not any more. I live in Utah and there does not appear to exist any local customer support or repair service. Best Buy Electronics can’t even tell me where to get it serviced. I’m ready to have it hauled off to the trash dump. The money I spent is a total waste. I ride my Segway Max kick scooter, which works fine. I’m disgusted. Any suggestions?
When you first charged it was it with the seat circuit breaker on or off? I charged mine off and the charger never went red either. When i turned it on 10 hours later it was still dead.
I believe that in Florida this does not to be registered, but you cannot ride on the road nor sidewalk, so if there is no bike lane, where CAN you ride it?
I don’t think you need a license, this is basically a class 2 e-bike with the appearance of a moped scooter. A class 2 e-bike does not need a license, registration, and insurance.
This ended up being quite a long comment. TL;DR: Scooter speed limiting is overly aggressive and hurts innovation as well as the consumer. In Denmark, where I live, there are two steps of scooter/moped before you go into the motorcycle category. 30km/h and 45 km/h. All that's required to ride a 30 km/h spec scooter is that you're over the age of 15 and passed a safety course. The 45 km/h requires that you're over 18 and possess a motorcycle license or a drivers license for a car, since the 45 km/h scooter follows the traffic laws for cars, while the 30 km/h follows those for bicycles. That - frustratingly - means that you aren't allowed to ride on bicycle lanes, but must trudge along at roughly half the speed of all other motorists on roads with 80 km/h speed limits. There's no lane splitting allowed, so you don't get ahead of traffic in the city, and you can't even keep up with inner city 50 km/h limits on your 45 km/h scooter. So, realistically, most scooter riders in Denmark remove the limiter on their 30km/h scooters to enable them to go to 50km/h, and pretty much no one ever rides 45 km/h scooters. It's an example of putting laws in place that force people to break them in order to make reasonable use of a product, as well as stay moderately safe on the roads.
If anyone wants it's $1,240 at Best Buy right now. And if you're reading this a month later and it's way more then you know how low these can sell for.
Thats where the issue lies "It's not an E-BIKE because it doesn't have pedals, it's not a motorcycle either" The top speed doesn't classify it as a motorcycle, it's a Moped, a 20 MPH moped, An electric moped and most states including New York State they say "if it isn't registered or insured it will be confiscated by police"Electric Mopeds in New York are mopeds. Check with your laws in your state i've had issues with mine and no longer have it and sold it to not be stuck with a useless machine.
@@WithoutRemorse12 It's sort of expected with PEV's. I own 4 of them lol! You have to look for the universal part & order them yourself, service it yourself. It's mostly on Amazon or Aliexpress.
I've got a small electric moped like that, but it tops about around 30 and it's really still not fast enough on the acceleration to make me feel safe driving in traffic. My next ride will have to be faster. so I totally agree.
sorry in my opinion this is too expensive. This class of vehicle cost 250€ in China and a few years back in Europe for 599€. Yes these weren't looking so nice but same class. 400w and 20MPH top speed
This looks too confusing to people to ride on the bike lane since it looks exactly like a motorcycle. Probably pissed off most people and definitely gonna catch lots of attention especially cops. And you can't ride on the road at 20mph either. A failed product.
If it had a higher top speed then it would be a winner. Also lithium battery would be a plus.
My lady night this scooter the charger does not charge the battery
The company is not responding
Yeah I think this is fine because anything over 20 miles u need a licence or permit atleast in my city and no1 has time for that 😂
I have the Elite SI and it goes to 51 km/h
I'm thinking this is the perfect moped fleet scooter for places like Key West and Block Island. Lower noise, maintenance, and cheaper to "fuel".
Micah bringing his Keanu today.
Update on the scooter? How's the scooter doing? Any problems?
I wanna buy all of them!!! I just got a fleet today, I’m getting the zip next then the moped

In Sweden we have this one 25km/h and 45km/h. The 25 just rides on the bike lanes, parkes as a bicykle etc
Nice review of the swift Maxx excellent bike to be in a neighborhood or in the country I was going to use it to go to close neighbors

It is a good candidate for a 72V Li-Ion battery speed job.
Excellent Review 👍🏾
When you first charged it was it with the seat circuit breaker on or off? I charged mine off and the charger never went red either. When i turned it on 10 hours later it was still dead.
Regulations need to catch up.
Niu uqi comes to mind.
Micah I have a question. Can a 12 volt car battery be used with cables for distance? Would it require step up transformer to achieve 48 volts. Thanks
can you cut a wire and make it go faster ? anyone know a hack ?
What would be the difference with a standing e scooter and a scooter with a seat neither have peddles not comparing e mopeds?
I believe that in Florida this does not to be registered, but you cannot ride on the road nor sidewalk, so if there is no bike lane, where CAN you ride it?
I have a question my maxx will not charge.
I’ve only used the moped a few time went to charge it and it does not charge
hey thanks...$999.00 @ BEST BUY RIGHT NOW IS IT A GOOD DEAL
Basically the same as the Segway C80. But the Segway has a Lithium Ion battery. And I got mine on sale for $1250
Hi Ron, would you share the on-sale link?
You should test the fly ebike fly10
How tall are you? I see alot of your reviews. But I feel like I'm too tall to fit on most rides
Do you need to have a license in Florida or is it considered an electric bike

Wow I like this
Here in India we are getting 8500w pmsm motor, 4kwh battery electric bike namely Ola S1 Pro for under 2000$...
If anyone wants it's $1,240 at Best Buy right now. And if you're reading this a month later and it's way more then you know how low these can sell for.
I am 6 2”. Do you think it will be too short for me?
I just got mine today I'm also 6'2" it does feel a little too short. I was still able to ride it okay but it just felt a little too small
Lead acid battery? Are we in 2008?
Shame they don't sell it in the UK for this excellent price.
Confusion and paperwork would ruin a significant proportion of your life.
Is their a way to make it go faster 😅

Thats it.
Yikes. I'd rather go for the Segway C80 that has close to it's claimed range. Or the HyperScorpion.
C80 has terrible customer service and no place to buy spare parts.

@@WithoutRemorse12 also it can't handle any hills, even barely steep ones apparently
Do you need a license? For this
Please do the swft ebmx 😭
Do u need a license to ride this moped?
Sorry, but 20mph is just too dangerous on today's fast roads.
I've got a small electric moped like that, but it tops about around 30 and it's really still not fast enough on the acceleration to make me feel safe driving in traffic. My next ride will have to be faster. so I totally agree.
How do you charge it
Can u review the emove roadrunner?
Have one on the way, actually 🙂
Lol he said “cute”!
*I think they kept it under 20mph so you wouldn't have to register it like a Moped.*
Ever try Fly bikes ? Too fast. Need license ins, registration in NY what a shame.
it was said to have 40-50 mph top speed is it true?
Is this street legal in NYC ? Without pedals. Anyone knows
Its 1,300 today only one day sell bestbuy
20mph? 😳 Wait. What!?
It's $1,699 now.

and max weight 80kg. So this is Chinese no drivers license needed city vehicle.
anyone know how to hack it for faster speeds?
If the top speed was at least 35 I would of bought it
Yes, its a pity. I have a pair of Chinese fat-tyred rice rockets that keep me warm on a cold day - by attracting heat.
Hi
All based on TaoTao frame..... at $700
Swap the motor out for higher speed
That’s not a moped cause it doesn’t have any pedals
for $1500 a second hand NIU might be a better option.
This looks too confusing to people to ride on the bike lane since it looks exactly like a motorcycle. Probably pissed off most people and definitely gonna catch lots of attention especially cops. And you can't ride on the road at 20mph either. A failed product.
This is not a moped. A moped has pedals.
please don't ride these in the sidewalk 😂, we don't got enough space as it is
This speed need to be around 10mph. 20 is waaaay too fast
*Moped."*
Lost me at lead acid
No pedal; it's an eMoped; registration + insurance every single year
im just get a gas power moped .
Cutie, but not my style
Don't say cute
Thanks for staying off of the pedestrian designed walkway. If you don't want to pedal, stay on the street...no matter how fast you are going.
Bruh it can’t even go 20 mph what a joke
Waiting for a Japanese product, maybe a Honda…no faith in the American or Chinese products
can you test out the fly 9ebike?
looks nice, better if it could do 35 or 40
