So yeah I bought an Aventura X electric moped! This E-moped is an absolute blast to ride and it's crazy I haven't ridden one of these things before!!
#electric #moped #scooter
That scooter is dope (mopeds have pedals :-) ) love the content brother
Thanks brother!
Indonesia is booming with electric motorcycles now. The price of the bikes are mostly based off the battery. The one that first got me into them was the Davigo Dragon that goes 200km on a single charge. The price all in with roadtax and plates is around $1300 if converted
That is awesome news!! Southeast Asia is the moped/scooter/motorbike heart of the world and they love to cut off the mufflers. It is insanely loud in most of the countries as a result. (not to mention the poor air quality that gas mopeds do not help with) I don't know specifically about Indonesia, but I can say this confidently for Thailand and the Philippines. I welcome any quiet electric vehicles that are used in these countries.
Thank you for this amazing review on our Retro Electric Scooter! one thing we would like to add that we are the first retro electric scooter that has portable batteries, this means you don't need a charging station to charge an Aventura-X Electric, you can simply remove the battery and charge it with any wall outlet same as your phone battery at a coffee shop or at home etc..
Riding a scooter like that on bike paths and sidewalks is likely to get you a fine, it's a scooter so riding in bike lanes and on sidewalks can be pretty dangerous especially considering it's weight, top speed and acceleration. Stick to the roads. Apart from that, nice retro styled scooter and not a bad price considering it's half the price of most bigger brand name electric scooters.
In California it should be registered and have license plates too. If a cop had seen him on it in public at all without registration they could have confiscated it.
Yeah I wanted to get a feel for it before getting into traffic.
@@TheInja I don't think a cop would buy that one. LOL
I have a frame like this but gas powered 150cc scooter. Cherry red and chrome. It attracts so much attention is amazing for daily commute to work and for groceries. Ample room in the top box. I can almost static balance it. It's quick, nimble, and I can work on it myself. 8hp, red lines at 60 but I will never need to go that fast. It's meant for cruising. I've got it up to 55 fast and not feeling like she's straining.
I've been wondering about the electric counter part. This is pretty appealing to me. Thank you.
The intro was hilarious, thanks 🤣 If you lose your sense of humor you've lost everything. That Moped seems really well built and fast, make a good commuter in the right situations if you have the budget for it.
I like before I watch. I'm a simple guy. Once Inja uploads, I like. I then watch. Awesome scotter
That's what I'm talking about 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🔥
First off, and all along, pure entertainment. This guy has perfected his own brand of entertainment/warfare. But when you sheathed that sword?
There was no doubt about it in my mind anymore.
I said okay, then. This guy is the real Inja.
Hahaha 🔥🔥
I have been waiting so long to see more electric scooters I’m hoping it becomes more of a trend
Hmm cool! Almost identical to the Vespa and/or Lambretta scooters, but updated, and electric. I really like that it is virtually SILENT! Like you said, the build quality looks exceptional!😉
absolutely love The Inja, one of the best creators, Binged all the videos, now subed and watching all the new one!
Appreciate you brother!! 👊🏽
My wife legit loves this and I'm totally getting her one.
Thank you for doing this video!
My pleasure!!
Use code elec800 to save $800.
Back in 1966 our neighbors bought a new Olds 98 4-door with PS, PB, AC, cruise control, AM-FM, power locks and the 425 V8. My dad was shocked when he saw the sticker price was $4,700.
Then again, your new electric moped doesn't guzzle gas and pollute the environment.
Happy riding!
Reminds me of a Vespa, Actually I could swear there really was an electric Vespa in production at one point or maybe it was someone with a similar name trying to ride the nostalgia. If I'm going 50 mph I feel like I'd still want something that looks a bit "cooler" than that, but I can't deny it looks fun when you don't have anything at all to ride. It's quite classy looking.
E vespas are a big thing i think in the whole of europe ? i see them every day and even more normals vespas
Vespa Elettrica is indeed a thing, it hits 45 mph.
@@nikurou9025when the Vespa came out I think it only did 37-38 mph, only had 30 miles of range and cost almost $10,000. After a year or two they made it a little faster but the range and price didn’t improve. It was a no brainer for me. I got a Niu Ngt. Doesn’t look like a Vespa but it does 50 mph has 60 miles of range and cost less than half as much.
@@craigcampbell1843 that's a shame, I really like the classic retro moped/scooter aesthetic and was looking to get my first bike but it's important that it can legally go on the highway if I need to. It seems only the Vespa GTS 300 Super meets that criteria for me, but I did want electric if possible
@@nikurou9025 I think Niu makes an electric motorcycle now. At least they were saying they were going to a few years ago. Looked really cool and a lot cheaper than a Zero or Harley. You could go on the freeway with that. As far as scooters go don’t stop at Vespa. You’re going to pay thousands more because they’re “Luxury” (one piece metal bodies). Personally I’d rather have plastic body panels anyway. If mine gets bumped into I can just pop off that panel and pop on a new one.
Great review! Does this model require a driver's test/license since it can go 50 mph?
The side fender storage box is what the vintage Vespa(s) have.
My new favorite e-scooter. Love the build weight, your reaction to the bikes handling, and the performance specs. I would love to have a couple of these in Vermont. Looks like a perfectly practical vehicle for the many small towns we have throughout New England. Really great specs on this. I want one :)
This is a scooter. Not a moped. Mopeds have bicycle pedals. Moped is short for motor+pedals. Yes scooters are very fun and nimble. No they shouldn’t be ridden in the bike lane or on sidewalks. A scooter by definition is just a motorcycle with a step through frame and should follow all the same traffic laws as any other motorcycle.
Thank you...everytime he said moped I cringed...lol
Did I just smash that like button?
My man 😏
Good job Inja!! You look super cool on it. I can’t think of a more appropriate setting then a cool dude in Cali showcasing that! Love the design very old school looking even the chrome emblems and color. I’ll bet THAT becomes a collectible one day. It has that “classic” vibe IMO. THANKS Inja another great n fun review
You can tell that the Inja is bored on a lot of his ebike product reviews so it is really cool to see him really having fun.
Nice to be having more fun now. 🙌🏽 Glad to be back at it!
In 1961 I had a Sears Cruisair scooter which was the Vespa made by Piaggio for the Sears Company. It had a 145.5 cc gas engine. Fun scooter that lasted for years. This looks almost exactly like it down the the Cruisair blue color.
Looks bloody great
that thing would look great with the gold wrapping ✌
Oooooo ya 😎
It's a Scooter design not a MoPed as I do not see pedals. Looks super and the colour is nice. Good in wet conditions I bet. Why have a car in the city, have one of these?
I love it. I'd ride it to work everyday. It looks really clean. If it ever goes on sale maybe I'll get one 😂
Is it street legal? Do you need to register it for the streets?
hello our scooters are 100% street legal and you are able to register them, comes with all the required documents :)
What?! One with a sidecar coming soon. haha Why not. Love it!
@@fizziemandellokc1032 Good point. Still pretty neat.
Ooooo
I would love to try one lol ride safe take care and stay cool 😊
Great review mate
Im thinking of getting one for my gf so she can go to school and back. Do you think you can do a follow up review? I would really appreciate it! If not i understand!
@@alvarohinogiante9979 already sold it!
Did you ever reviewed the V28 scooter (tri wheel?)
Just bought one second hand.
Had a two-stroke tricycle piaggio zip 2000 (2005)
Wanted something new.
It hadminor electrical issues so was on a discount
Because of my disability I modified it. Some pull springs to take some weight of when tilting and tilt angle blocks by 3d printing those.
I'm small so it's ok for me but for you maybe not the best choice.
But it looks fun too drive.
Check it out.
Vigorous v28 / move v28 or some rebrand variants.
Is the body plastic or metal?
Plastic
When then battery dies and you need a new battery, what’s the estimated price? Thanks
I might be dumb but doesn’t the ped part of moped mean pedal? So this is just an e-scooter right??
I meannnnnn techniicalllyyyyyyyy you're right I guesss 😆
It all comes down to what Ian says ,mopeds do have pedals but today I think I'll call this scooter a MOPED, and if anyone wants to fight about it I'll go tell my mum .🤠
Beautiful MOPED 😮😅
Damn that looks awsome !
You can keep up with traffic.....QUIT RIDING ON THE SIDEWALK AND BIKE LANE!
Ebikers don't care. They don't have the mental capacity. The idiots doing stupid stuff is why we have all the rules to follow today.
He can ride wherever he wants
@@thargor6750 what rules to follow? It’s a battery vehicle with no vin..no one cares
@@slimdunkin117no he can’t actually. I mean technically he can because he did but if a cop had seen him riding this in the bike lane or on the sidewalk or with no plates they would have confiscated it.
For the people who actually know the laws or have common sense, thank you. For those people who think he can do WHATEVER he wants, that's not a good defense. Go do donuts on the lawn on the White House....SEE WHAT HAPPENS
Electric Scooters..if you're ever buying one
get one with the highest Battery Capacity available so you have all the range you'll want (and for those extra errands)
I ride an Escooter Vespa thing to work and back..
it's very convenient I'd give it that 🤷🏻♂️
a single charge lasts me about a week which is about 100km's
i didn't choose the thug life, my mom grounded me from my motorcycles.
ExAaaAactly haha 😆
Can this fit two riders?
Yeah!
I only see the 30mph version on their website. Any other 50mph e-scooters with a decent range in this price bracket? adsf
Whaaaat, you’re sending it to me so I can get around campus without having a heat stroke? You’re so nice! 😅 I definitely need to get one frfr. My campus is the size of a city with a student body of more than 59,000 and more than 5,200 acres on the campus. I’ve almost stroked out already on my visits and the semester hasn’t even started yet. 😢 wish me luck!
Haha!! Dang!!
@@TheInja I’m just sayin 🤷♀️😅
It looks like a scooter, I don’t see any pedals on it unless if they’re removable. A moped would have pedals for sure to start it.
gotcha
Agreed, scooter not moped.
I’m literally wearing the color blue and I promise I can see the moped the whole time
I don’t see a moped, I see a scooter. A moped has pedals, not floorboards.
thank you I didn’t know that
Yeah I put a blue shirt on an there it was!!!! 😱😱😱
I know right it’s amazing😂
I’m gonna get one. Or maybe the bmw electric scooter, but that’s like 5x as much money and has the same range…
It's a nice ride!
Use code elec800 to save $800.

Did it slow down at all going uphill?
Nothing super noticeable.
The crazy part is that I will be interested in it, but that he would say has engine stop start. Then I’m thinking he’s pulling my leg with the jokes.
Electric vehicles woohoo🎉
Nice Electric SCOOTER!!!!
@@rogereheadbyrne4790he clearly didn’t know the difference. Now he and his viewers will know they’re not the same thing. Not sure why you think people telling other people things they don’t know means they’re “triggered”. That has become such an annoyingly overused and misused term.
Also I happen to live in Fresno and I know the state laws for this bike. He obviously doesn’t. This bike requires a license plate and registration to be ridden in public here and it’s not allowed in the bike lane or on sidewalks. He could have had it confiscated if a cop had seen him on it. Do you think me informing him of that makes me “triggered” too? 🙄
@@craigcampbell1843 no one means any harm here, Craig.
Sorry Craig I didn't mean to upset you mate ninjas right I had read the large amount of comments that had Made people react to the scooter/moped error and was having a joke 😂
@@rogereheadbyrne4790 to be fair I did see one comment where the guy seemed legitimately pissed off by the mistake. Lol. I don’t understand that. The rest of us were just correcting or informing him but not pissed off or anything. Just because it’s electric and small and on two wheels doesn’t mean he’s going to get away with riding it the way he did in this video or like he would ride an ebike which would be the modern version of a moped because it has pedals. I think we were all mostly just trying to keep him out of trouble. I will say as someone who rides mopeds and scooters it does get frustrating when you’re online trying to find moped parts and all that comes up is scooter stuff though so for those of us like me it can be a sore spot when people mix them up. Not “triggered” though. Lol
@theinja NOT A MOPED!!!!! MOPED IS A VEHICLE WITH A "MOTOR"/"MO" & "PEDALS"/"PED"!!!!
I LIKE TO WATCH YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE SIX FOOT THREE AND I'M 6 FT 5 AND I GET A GOOD IDEA WHAT IS LIKE TO RIDE THESE VEHICLES AS A TALL PERSON. BUT SOMETIMES YOU'RE NOT THAT BRIGHT! SORRY TO SAY THAT. I switch from UA-cam on my Chromebook to my cell phone just to leave this comment because I'm so upset of how wrong you get things!
that looks hilarious! 🤣 just make sure to get coffee next time. ☕☕
Haha will do!
I would love to ride with you and check out the motors some day because we live in the same area
so in america u dont need a license for this ?
This falls under the same laws as any other motorcycle with the exception of maybe two or three states. In California this bike definitely requires a motorcycle license and registration and a license plate. It’s also not allowed in the bike lane or on sidewalks. He could have had it confiscated.
I don't get it. It is obviously not a MoPED, it's a scooter, and it's a Vespa from the '70s. They must had dug up the dies from an abandoned Piaggio product. Too bad they don't make those any more.
imagine this with a potent fardriver controller, sheeeesh
ShooOooOooott
"I look freakin' awesome on this thing" How you really look 10:30 🤭
What happened to the async?
Was going to release the video, but there were some bugs in the bike and they didn't want anyone seeing from an early production model. Haha. Apparently they upped quality control and are sending me a new version for a *real video. Haha and it came pretty messed up from shipping which may have been the cause of the problems.
@@TheInja whomp whomp. I’m excited to see it. Might order one

could just be
It’s what everyone wants these days. Those mopeds but with a engine…cool bike tho.
@2:59 This thing has AC breakers in it for DC battery. I would be running if I saw that.
A moped has pedals and MUST stay under 20mph. It also does not require a license plate. This is NOT a moped.
The site says it has a 360lb max load capacity, so only your smaller friends can get a ride with you, despite the long seat.
starting last month load capacity has been increased to 400 lb
Cracking EV moped
That's a scooter, not a moped. A moped has an engine and peddles. It looks like a modified Lexmoto Milano.
We have these in the UK but under the name Artisan Scooters it's the EV2000, looks identical but the batteries in ours are green 😉
@@fizziemandellokc1032 could be, the website hasn't updated their pictures
@@style11guru we have updated our pics :) you will see under the scooters the black batteries now, we still sell the older green batteries for our previous customers
the green batteries were the older models with the lower range 50 miles range, we have upgraded the range to 70 miles since, that is why you now see the black batteries :)
Why are you driving that on the sidewalks? Are you trying to get pulled over? Lol
Any no mopeds not to be driving on sidewalk you can ride in the road I have two mopeds I almost go everywhere
Looks like an old Vespa and I kind of like it but it just seems like more body panels to break when you inevitably crash checking out all the MILFs in the neighborhood..... 😂😂

Why are you spending so much time in bike lanes and sidewalks? Is that legal?
@@robertsullivan6246 I did at first to get used to it. Street for the rest of it. :)

Snap both axles for SURE
That's not s moped. You need peddles that drive the wheel to make it a moped. mo = motor & ped = peddles
Thank you. Mopeds and scooters are NOT the same thing. If it doesn’t have pedals it’s not a moped. It’s especially annoying when you’re trying to find moped parts online and all that comes up is scooter stuff. I cringed every time he called this bike a moped, which was about every five seconds.
@craigcampbell1843 My FS1E DX was my first Moped & my Lambretta 225 was my first Scooter. I guess some people were just born too late, or they're just dense, I would have to say that is a Scooter as it is very similar looking to my Vespa PX200 back in the 80's and that never had any peddles either 😆
@@rickburnout666 my first moped was a 1978 Vespa Grande, the only moped ever built for two people (although I wouldn’t recommend it. Especially on old shocks. Haha). The first time I took a passenger on it the bike wouldn’t start anymore once we stopped. Turns out the taillight bulb on that bike is part of the ignition circuit and the wires to it run under the rear fender. The tire rubbed through the wires with the weight of two people causing the bike to ride too low and bottom out. Haha. My last moped was a 2012 Tomos ST. Now I have an electric scooter but it’s modern looking. A Niu Ngt. 50mph. 60 miles of true range and removable batteries so you can charge it anywhere or swap them out with fresh ones so you don’t have to wait while they’re charging. I THINK people started calling scooters mopeds because in some places they fall under the same laws but anyone who knows both types of bikes knows they are definitely not the same and the terms are not interchangeable.
@@craigcampbell1843 I had never seen or heard of the Vespa Grande before, my last 2 mopeds were a Tomas and a Puch Maxi around 83 time, both had a bit of tuning by me and were good for about 70MPH with their dodgy speedos and no GPS wizardry, The smallest bike I have now is my 88 Aprila AF1 125 race bike, that started life on the road with 12hp and now has 38 or 39hp depending on the weather and where I am racing in the UK, my 13 year old daughter used to lap 500cc four strokes at track days, time sure flies too fast, she is now 32
@@rickburnout666a lot of people don’t know Vespa used to make mopeds at all. They made a few different models. The Grande was like their “luxury” moped. It came with passenger foot pegs, blinkers, a bigger softer seat, softer suspension and larger tires for a smoother ride. It was also more rigid with a tube frame that doubled as it’s gas tank. The Ciao on the other hand didn’t even have suspension. My Grande and my Tomos both did 27 mph from factory. 40-45 with a little love from me which was more than fast enough with drum brakes and cables that can snap instead of hydraulics. Haha.

Low normal maintenance but failure in chinese designs are numerous The BMS can go out, the controller can fail, fuses go due to draw in certain cases, chinese batteries battery packs fail all the time . Anyone interested in your scooter should ask: What cells do you use in what configuration, Does it have a good bms that looks at all the cells and reports that (FIRE SCARE) what IP rating for the motor the battery the boards? Remember electric vehicles catch for all the time when sitting there, when charging, when you look at them…people need to know what they are buying and how it is safe.

Mopeds have pedals. It's the distinction between a scooter and a moped. The pedals. That's a scooter with an upgraded modern emotor. Which is fine but it's not a moped.

Hahaha I like your thinking 😏🔥
Uhhh... lets be clear about something. This is NOT a "MOPED". MOPED is short for MOtor-PEDal and refers to a motorized bicycle. Mopeds were popular in the 70's. Google "Vespa Ciao" to see an example. What you are describing in this video does not have any pedals. It is an electric SCOOTER - admittedly a somewhat ambiguous term but a SCOOTER nonetheless.
ha , Yep , No Tattoos IS the New Tattoo . 💪🏽
It's a Honda Super Cub clone.
How does this count as a moped, it has no pedals
Moped is just this style of vehicle to our young generation, since true "mopeds" aren't really made these days.
Wish you could have been bothered to do a proper range test- like 19 miles man?
If you have my schedule you'd understand. Lol. I'm sure you could have bothered if you were making the video
this is exactly the same as the 125cc lexmoto milano

You keep using that word (moped). I don't think that word means what you think it means. 😂. Just joking bro. Don't take it as trolling please.
In all seriousness, I saw the Motor part but where's the peddle part? Otherwise, I think it's more correctly called a scooter or limited speed motorcycle
To be fair the nomenclature has gotten very muddled over the years and the addition of high powered e-bikes of various designs to the space of small two wheeled transportation have only helped make it harder to keep the titles straight.
@@TheRealAlpha2it will definitely be registered as a moped in a few states but that’s just it’s registration.
