    It is just funny that the man that actually killed Ringo is the only one not listed as a suspect I mean he was seen by six people looking for ringo. If you want to know the truth here it is if you prefer the Romanticism then don't bother reading the known killer of Ringo is buckskin Leslie a murderer who killed his live-in girlfriend a couple of years after that. He told the guard that he got friendly with that he came upon A drunk and passed out Ringo and took the opportunity to shoot him and took his hair as a souvenir and this 100% matches the crime scene.

      Except for one shot being taken from Ringo's gun. He was shot in the temple like a suicide would. Who walks up on a sleeping person puts a gun to their temple and shoots. What if Ringo woke up while he was trying to get that position? The body was also found in the nook of a tree like he had been standing, shot himself in the temple and then fell down. Well, once again maybe you were right and Ringo was passed standing up with his gun pointed at his temple and Leslie snuck up and pulled the trigger. Guess anything is possible. Guess nobody in your world ever lies. Nobody would ever want to take credit for killing a famous outlaw like Ringo. Yeah it's not like you would get instantly famous or anything. Also I guess it wasn't a thing for people to snip the hair off of famous dead people back then either. Yep nobody did that to Lincoln when Buckskin Leslie killed him too. I know there is this weird phenomenon going on in our country right now. How about 10% of the country finds out the "truth" and they want to be in the know so much they choose to ignore any evidence that counters their beliefs. Like the moon landing. I head no stars no stars all the time. I try to tell them that zi asked that exact question when I visited Nasa as a teenager and they showed me the exact monitor that received the feed from the moon. The screen was about 3 or4 inches and they placed the TV camera on top of it. That's how they were able to broadcast it to America. They show you how blowing up a small black and white monitor is tough to do and keep it in focus. Poof no stars. I have seen that with my own 2 eyes. Nope they don't want to hear it. Another thing Nasa pointed out that it wouldn't be 1 trip to the moon that was faked but 8!! One of them had to be aborted and the astronauts almost died. So yeah if they faked one and it was that hard why bother faking 7 more? The public stopped caring after the 4th or 5th one too. Then there is flight 93. That one pisses me off. They shot down the flight but hid the fact they almost shot down the one that hit the pentagon amd had flight 93 gotten to Washington they would have shot it down? So they shot down a flight but then said they didn't but if it had gotten to where it was going they would have? And that makes sense? All they are doing is trashing the memory of all of those brave Americans that tried to take their plane back. No there is no conspiracy. Ringo shot himself and he was dehydrated when he did it. You know one thing I have wondered and it would explain his bizarre behavior. I wonder if Ringo had caught rabies.

    Both Wyatt and Doc were in Colorado when Ringo's was killed. But Buckskin Frank Leslie was in town, and was a known enemy of Ringo's. He couldn't beat Ringo in a straight up gun fight, so he shot him as he slept leaning against that famous tree. Not many men in History could out draw Ringo, he was known while he was alive as the fastest gun in the West. Holiday in his diminished condition was no match for Johnny. I've studied the old west for 55 years, and it's my opinion that only James Butler Hickok was a better gunman than Ringo. Old time reports claim that "The Kid" was greased lightning as well. I could be wrong about Leslie but I don't believe so. What I do know is that Ringo's death was no suicide...

    • @Evocati2008
      @Evocati2008 7 місяців тому +4

      Leslie was friendly with Ringo. They played poker many times and rode together at times. John Wesley Hardin claimed that that the only man that could match him was Ringo in speed and accuracy with a pistol, saying they rode together out of Texas after the Hoodoo War and their stint in jail. I believe Ringo did commit suicide after being disowned by his most beloved sister in California. His gun powder laced face, the strips of worn, dirty shirt wrapped around his feet after travelling quite a ways, his horse found miles away with the boots tied to the saddle, the upside belt suggesting an urgency in putting on (while drunk, as your horse ran off while camping for the night...most plausible occurence), the gun in his hands and the fact that Breckingridge saw him exteremely drunk and was last person to see him alive.

    • @franksantucci3038
      @franksantucci3038 7 місяців тому +5

      @Evocati2008 what was left of Ringo's family all disowned him, left him standing outside the family home on second st in San Jose CA. So he walked around the corner onto Santa Clara st and had his photo taken at a studio there. At the time it was the only known picture of him. But this happened a few years before his death. Also there were no powder burns anywhere on his face or head. His pistol was in his right hand, with its barrel tangled up in his gold pocket watch chain, and a knife wound to the scalp like his killer had tried to scalp him, but was interrupted. All proof positive that this was no suicide. Buckskin Frank might have been friendly with Ringo once, but they were enemies in the end. Leslie was an excellent gunman, but not as good as Ringo so he took care of the problem the only way he could he shot him as he slept and staged it to look like a suicide. He would have been better off if he dropped the pistol a couple of feet away, cause if Ringo fired the shot the gun wouldn't have been found in his hand, and the barrel wouldn't have been tangled in his watch chain. And there definitely would have been powder burns around the bullet hole in his right temple. Plus if you believe that other lowlife Breckenridge, he stated on his deathbed that he saw "Buckskin" kill Ringo...

    • @Evocati2008
      @Evocati2008 7 місяців тому +1

      the bullet hole can still be seen on the tree, and eye witnesses that found the body said it was impossible to tell if the face had powder burns or not because he was already turning black due to the heat and decomposition. but one of the coroner jurors stated that he did have black powder residue on his temple, which led directly , trajectorially, to the hole in the tree. It makes absolutely NO SENSE whatsoever that someone would try and make it look like a suicide, then try and scalp the individual. The gun could very well be still clutched after shooting himself, and the natural drop of the hand could've entangled with the watch. Many civil war dead were found clutching pistols and even rifles after being killed on the field. As for death bed testimonies, they certainly don't hold as much weight as testimony from the day. Breckingridge's first & original testimony in this regard is widely accepted as it was collaborated by Goodrich ranch hands. He was no where near the Smith property when the lone shot was heard at 3 pm., so it's impossible he saw anything. Breckingridge was a blowheart, and if he did have any eye witness account of what happened, you better believe he would've milked as much publicity as he could. There is NO "proof positive" as you state, either way. Many have stated that the priority with those that found Ringo was to bury him with respect. In doing so, they deprived history of a proper coronary investigation and report. Outside of new, colloborated evidence, i doubt we will ever know. @@franksantucci3038

    • @franksantucci3038
      @franksantucci3038 7 місяців тому

      @Evocati2008 you may be right about the last sentence in your last post, but you are right and wrong in the rest of it. Civil War as well as other Vets have been found clutching their firearms after being shot dead, but never when they shot themselves. In that scenario the pistol was always found between 1 and 3 feet away from the body. The gold watch chain was literally looped around the barrel of the pistol. Buckskin was a loose cap, who in his excitement after ridding himself from his biggest threat probably had a brain fart and thought he was skinning a Deer. Who knows about that but like you say it makes absolutely no sense. But let me say after long hours of investigation for the record Johnny Ringo "The Fastest Gun In The West" was not the kind of man that commits suicide NO MATTER WHAT... and I wouldn't believe anything those exaggerating liers from back in the day had to say, well almost anything... PS there were no powder burns found on Ringo's body on any post mortem manuscripts.

      @@franksantucci3038 We don't agree on a lot of particulars. I saw the coroner's report with grand jury testimonies. There was a Mexican ranch hand that made the observation that you couldn't see the powder burns easily, but they were there on the right temple. I am trying to trace back where i saw this to provide it to the poster of this vid. In terms of a gun staying in the hands of someone who committed suicide, you are absolutely wrong in stating that the gun "never" stays in the hand. It is ABSOLUTELY possible at reasonable odds. The following is from a forensics investigation in 1999 from the National Library of Medicine: "The location of the gun following suicidal gunshot wound was studied by reviewing 574 such deaths in which the scene was investigated by a medical examiner investigator and the body was examined at the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office in San Antonio, Texas. The position of the gun could not be established in 76 cases. In the remaining 498 cases, the gun remained in the deceased's hand in 24% of the cases. In 69% of the cases, the gun was on or near the body but not in the hand (i.e., touching the body or within 30 cm of the body). The gun was found >30 cm from the body in the remaining 7% of cases. In the case of handguns, the gun was found in the hand in 25.7% of individuals. For individuals using long guns, the firearm was in the hand of the decedent in 19.5% of cases. The gun had a greater chance of remaining in the deceased's hand if the person was lying or sitting when the gunshot wound was received. Variables such as gender of the individual, wound location, and caliber of handgun were not significant in predicting whether the gun stayed in the hand after a suicidal gunshot wound."

    The fact Ringo was shot in the head is what gives credibility to the theory that he committed suicide. However, it is slso claimed that the gun in Johnny Ringo's hand was fully loaded and had no spent cartridges on it. I don't know if that is a fact, or has just become part of the legend, but if true, there is no way Ringo killed himself.

      @@RemyJackson From the coroners report. The coroner's jury noted that Ringo's pistol contained 5 cartridges. Many people have speculated that this suggests that his pistol had not been fired. This theory is based on the fact that the men who wrote out the statement did not specifically state that one round had been fired. It was customary for only 5 cartridges to be loaded in a pistol during this period. This was done for safety because a pistol whose firing pin rested on a live round, could accidentally discharge if suddenly jarred. However, people were known to carry 6 cartridges in their pistols at times. Wyatt Earp in Wichita once had his pistol discharge when it fell from his belt and hit the floor. Also, Curly Bill Brocius' pistol contained 5 cartridges following his accidental shooting of Tombstone's first Town Marshal, Fred White. While perhaps it was customary to load only 5 cartridges in a pistol, men at times did load 6 rounds. Thus, the statement by the coroner's jury is consistent with the conclusion that Ringo's pistol had a spent round in it. In actuality, these men would have realized that Ringo could not have killed himself if no discharged rounds were in his pistol.

    The lawmen and coroner that examined Ringo weren't stupid men, and they weren't from Tombstone and had no reason to cover up a murder. Even if they thought it was a murder there would be no reason to cover it up because there were no witnesses and in those days such a shooting would be dismissed before it ever went to court. Ringo was a known alcoholic and known to have periods of "melancholy" (he would certainly have been diagnosed as a manic-depressive today). Ringo had alienated every friend he had. He'd been wandering and drinking for days and woke up without a horse or boots. He shot himself.

I'll also submit that while Doc did kill 3 or maybe 4 men, in fair fights, he has never been accused of being a Skulking, Murderer, who'd sneak up on a sleeping(Or Passed Out Drunk) Man and Murder Him Out Of Hand. As much Bad Press is given to the Southern Gentleman nowadays, Doc was an Old School Southern Gentleman, which meant Killing a Man in an open & "Fair" fight was completely acceptable, but Murdering an Enemy while he was incapacitated, would have been Totally Unacceptable to a Man like Doc.

He had no boots cause it was common for cowboys to leave them in your horse stirrups so scorpions or such don't crawl in so he tore his shirt and wrapped his feet, went looking for the pony was sick of everything, knew he had people after him and shot himself... story I heard. The day he died he had strapped his boots to his horse, a practice back then to keep poisonous critters from crawling into your boots. His horse ran off, leaving him in the middle of nowhere without a horse or even his boots. I believe this was the last straw and he took his own life.

      I'll explain it for you. Johnny Ringo was the indirect ancestor of Ringo Starr. In the next generation or two, the Ringo family moved from the American southwest to Liverpool England, shed their "aw shucks," western lingo and became proper Liverpudlians. Doesn't that explain it, now? This presentation is about as stupid as they get, full of nonsense stories which only confuse people that much more. Oh, and don't forget the book, "I Married Wyatt Earp," written by Marie Osmond. Ha, ha, ha, ha. Whoever did this story must have thought people are stupid enough to swallow any lie and fabrication. I happened to have read that book. It was written by Josephine Sadie Marcus, who was Wyatt Earp's common-law wife until the end of his life. (Hey, neat rhyme, huh?)

    Does it really make any sense that Johny Ringo would kill him self ? No matter how good ya are there’s alway seems to be somebody better, maybe an unknown person just happened to be there where Johny Ringo was a had his gun in hand when Johny appeared nobody’s quicker than a bullet, or maybe he just got Lucky and only 2 people know and their both Dead. Sometimes ya gotta just let it die.

    You can get rid of Wyatt Earp and doc Holliday right away. Wyatt Earp was 900 km away Waldorf holiday was 1,150 km away. Although he was shot while he was asleep and I believe any man would have shot him even sleeping they were not in the area they could not have been involved.

    Let me list the suspects and all the suspects according to Pete Spences Mexican wife. She said that her husband and a half breed named Hank zwilling where the masterminds. She said there was also a German and two other half breeds and that was all. So Wyatt Earp come up with a nonsense that the two other half breeds were white men dressed as half-breeds. That's absurd one of these was florentino Cruz and the other one was pony deal. These are the men involved in the death of Morgan and the attempted murder of Virgil Earp.

    The video says that the confrontation that Frank Stilwell had with Wyatt Earp ended in a draw. It did not. Wyatt shot him dead. Why is this video using kilometers, when in the old west they used "miles?" This must be another one of those foreign made videos.

    As Breckenridge himself put it others reliable citizens contemporaries believe that Wyatt Earp killed nobody at iron springs least of all curly Bill. In the book trigonometry which was a contemporary to many of the gunfighters it said curly Bill found out about his death at the hands of Wyatt Earp 9 years later or in 1890. Wyatt Earp is severely overrated by people that did not know him and hero worship him in his own day and age he was thought to be a little more than an outlaw/lawman. That's why when the boys were laid to rest at Boot Hill there was a huge sign that said murdered in the streets of tombstone. No one can deny that and that sign was put up by the entire town. The people that actually knew him the people the only people whose opinion matters was not very high of earp. Also over half the town believe that doc Holliday was involved in the stage robbery. Some of the people said he was actually the one that shot and killed the driver. And one thing is not debatable he was very good friends with one of the robbers.

      "Billy" Breckenridge was a Liar and a Charlatan and Far from a "Reliable Citizen". Nothing He Wrote can be taken with anything but a Boulder Of Salt. He didn't see the fight at the Spring.but those who did all said Wyatt was the only one who could have killed Brocious, since he was well ahead of the others & did him with a Double Barrelled 12 Gauge loaded with 00 Buckshot(All while his gunbelt was Down Around His Knees, due to Wyatt's having loosened the belt in order to make riding a bit more comfortable, but that Comfort almost cost him his life, when he and the others were "Ambushed" by Brocious and his bunch of "Upstanding Pillars Of The Community" leapt from their hiding places, Killed Doc's Horse, trapping his leg underneath, and tried to Murder Wyatt and his "Posse", and Wyatt, being Wyatt, chose to fight an Brocious bore the brunt, and Rightly So..............Then again, maybe Brocious "Committed Suicide", like Ringo, but did it during a Gun Fight to, Ya Know...Make it more believable N Stuff...........You Earp Detractors and Fantasists will never stop casting Unfounded Aspersions as Fact, while Making Up More Crap In Your Own Fever Dreams. The Earps were Anything But Saints, and Wyatt along with James likely did a little "Pimping" as a young man, but a whole lot of the Crap folks like you Spread About As "Facts", Are Anything But.
