Thank you Ed, Glad to see you back in action. I love your channel, it's ducational and entertaining. I find bait gathering and the use of natural baits the most challenging area of successful fishing. Also since retirement I've found the increased frequency of fishing requires much more maintenance on my fishing gear with runner replacement, fishing reel lubrication/ minor repairs, line replacement and tackle replacement choices. Another thing that does worry me is using and loosing lead for sinkers in our waterways so exploring non toxic substitutes would be helpfull and interesting. Thanks Ed.
Thank you and I am glad you enjoy the channel. Bait gathering can be an art in itself, it is challenging finding fresh bait for a targeted species. As far as gear is concerned I check all the gear needed for a particular fishing trip 2 days in advance and service whats need to minimise unhappy surprises at the fishing location. With non toxic fishing ideas especially concerning lead sinkers, there are some dedicated anglers that use rounded stones that you sometimes find on our coastline and dill holes in them to accommodate a large swivel glued to the stone. Mabe that's one for a future video 👍
Great weather. I’m envious especially living in such a great area. Beach rocks and enclosed waters to choose from. You ever go chasing bass down that way?
