BACK IN THE MID 90'S THROUGH MAKE A WISH, MY DAUGHTER HAD THE PLEASURE TO MEET JON AND THE BAND. HE HAD HER ON THE STAGE WITH HIM AND SANG BED OF ROSES TO HER. I CAN NOT THANK HIM ENOUGH FOR WHAT HE DID FOR HER THAT NIGHT !!!! SADLY SHE PASSED AWAY IN 2004 OF CF. SHE TOLD ME MANY TIMES THAT THAT WAS THE BEST DAY OF HER LIFE !! Jon does indeed put all of his feelings in his music, especially this song, but he is not crying, as tears would come out in the other side of the eye, close to the nose. Beautiful song, beautiful voice and amazing band! Legends never die!

What man, in his right mind wouldn't want to sing this effortless, soulful and beautiful? I have such a greater respect for him as a writer, composer and vocalist after hearing this track on the CD. The studio version is AMAZING! Download it and listen on earbuds or earphones to catch the orchestra that accompanies him. As a grown man, I get tears when I hear it.

Wonderful video. Bon Jovi is so amazing singer and songwriter. This song is one of his best songs just like "Always". This performance is unbeliveable, so touching, so full of emotions and yes Jon is craying. He is so sweet, I just want to hold him in my arms, dry his eyes and say that I love him.

"while my mistress she calls me to stand in her spotlight again" the mistress is obviously the music, he wants to go home but he can't because they have to play... So it's quite possible that he's crying, cause it brings back the memories :-( like I said, this is my opinion.^^
