Love your channel bro and big respect for coming to some random obscure English seaside town. But I’ve gotta say Odyssey is the number 1 ride here by a million miles, even as rough as it is. I feel with a retract and better trains it would outright be the best coaster in the entire UK rivalled only by Hyperia.
@@CanobieCoaster it’s just a shame how rough it is, otherwise it would be absolutely unbelievable. Real shame too that they got essentially ripped off so bad due to having to spend a CRAZY amount of money concreting the sea ruined earthbed. Could have built THREE superb coasters with that money on regular ground. 😢
• I would call the Magic ride more a suspended monster ridesover a break dance. But yeah this is running reeeaaaaly slow. Why are all flatrides in parks so slow? I don't get it. • If you like the Techno Jump (also looks pretty slow), have you had the chance to try a SBF super jumper? These things deliver some rather violent ejector airtime with loose restrains. • Odessey might be rough, but I just love that this is not the normal layout, but fully custom. • The starflyer also doesn't look like it runs full speed. In germany the ride op puts these on max for one or two moments. I really love it.
@@RichyJFilms So if you're at a restaurant and the food tastes awful you also don't critisize? Cause you could make a better restaurant instead? This makes no sense. I don't know if you noticed that I mentioned that these flatrides run in almost all parks (not just Fantasy Island) really slow. Most of these rides by the Mellors Group got bought off of german showman. These missing rides left a bit of a gaping wound on our fairs, so of course I'm a bit frustrated by seeing them running with only half of their potential. It still is only critisism though, not throwing hate at them LMAO. No need to get upset over nothing.
I've done the SBF version, but I don't think it ran at its full potential. The best Magic I have done was at Marineland. That one ran faster than others.

I like Millennium best here, but Odyssey is definitely an impressive ride.

They have that new-generation scrambler model at a fair I went to like a month ago. Yes I can confirm that the laterals are very good 👍
Nice!
The indoor section looks so cool
It was great.
I'd love to see those 2 custom coasters remade in planet coaster one day!
Someone probably has.

if u dont like it make a better UK theme park or just shut up
@@RichyJFilms did I somehow hit a nerve? I criticized one thing. One. The flat rises that got bought from the German fair circuit.

I believe The Guardian can invert but doesn't as it kept getting stuck upside down.
Interesting, wish they got that to work.
What about that booster ride that is seen here? That should probably place at the top.
the booster is actually owned by a different operator to the park and is not part of the park despite its close proximity
It's technically not Fantasy Island.
Wheres rhombus rocket
It was closed the day I was there.
Oh okay but i would give it 10/10 great family coaster
Don’t forget the mellors do own an travelling sky rocket 2 called sky loop it is in Riyadh at the moment
That would be a nice fit if it one day made it to Fantasy Island.
Wait can you even get travelling sky rocket 2's????
@@Leftpeg8379 Yh is in Saudi Arabia’s Blouevard world and it’s called sky loop
I assume the you didn’t ride the Slingshot
No, it wasn't part of Fantasy Island.
@@CanobieCoaster ok
I'm no expert but aren't those swing rides super dangerous if all that is between you and certain death is a few small chains? Cool video, as always!
The chains are rated for very high loads.
@@CanobieCoaster That does make sense but MAN that would make me need an extra pair of boxers! 😂😂😂
This park looks weird and amazing at the same time.Nice vid!

Thanks!

I haven't seen their name on the project, but I could be wrong.
