sainaa zolboo I got the fz07 and haven’t looked back saw this bike and you can make mods to make it look similar so racially the headlight but overall I love my fz07 and don’t think I’d do that change for a while

The bolts that connect the drive chain guard to the swingarm may loosen, possibly causing the chain guard to contact the drive chain and break, which could lead to loss of control increasing risk of a crash.
Have you test ridden the XSR? In the same boat, have an FZ07 but wanting a more classic look. I know it's the same engine but I wonder if they ride identical..
@@RideYEG Nah I haven't yet. I live in Hawaii and my dealership said the XSR700's and 900's aren't in demand here, so they rarely order them. I heard it's taller and the bars looks wider, so I'd imagine it'd take just a little more effort to ride hard. There are always clip ons, rear sets and cartridge kits to swap with anyway.

I've never owned a road bike but have been looking at them for years. Used to ride dirt bikes, enduros on trails when I was younger and tried friends Katana 600, nighhawk 750 and Honda CB550. Used to love doing wheelies and I think this is the one, 2018 xsr700 with two brothers or M4 exhaust, rear lights mod and lic plate. Reminds me of my 60 cc Yamaha JT2 in my pic. Wow, such a beautiful bike! Great job Jack!

Pretty sure this bike is for sale in Fayetteville NC.. I been looking at buying one and when I saw the two brothers exhaust on it I got on UA-cam to see what it sounds like. Found this video and was like they look identical 🤨 haha

The 700 has this sound because of the parallel twin, 270 crank design. The inline triple 900 has a much higher rev motor, so it will be more of a typical sport bike sound. There are plenty of aftermarket exhaust setups for the 900 that will make it sound incredible.
I had the exact same bike. Its a nice bike. But I'm telling you, it does not even come close to the 900. The XSR900 is much more comfortable. And it's a fucking beast! I traded my 700 for the 900. You should too. Especially with your size.

One thing that's hard to tell from a video is how much louder an exhaust is. Can you tell me how many times louder it is from stock. If I drove it to work at 730 am would the whole neighbourhood want to choke me or could I keep it reasonably quite with the revs low until im out of my neighbourhood?
Marc DeGras Captain Clutch NAGP Hello Marc! It’s totally manageable within a neighborhood. It is definitely one of the louder systems, but it’s also a great tuned sound, meaning you can control it if needed. I live in a neighborhood as well, and have had no issues.
Hi Jack I have a query for you. I also got the same grips for my 700 and I noticed the throttle body is actually longer than the grips! Did you modify the throttle body at all I didn't think they made different length ones?

You probably wont get this message but I just recently picked up an xsr700 and I'm caught between the two brothers and the akrapovic carbon. I like them both but cant decide yet. Did you look into other exhaust or were you set on the two bros?
Hello Gabriel. I did look at the Akra system, but I think the Two Bros just had a better sound. It’s a bit deeper and louder (in a good way) than the Akra. I think it looks better too. Man that sounds awesome. I traded in my XSR for an FJ09. Yamaha's triple is great but I really miss the sound and punchiness of that twin. My FJ has a black widow exhaust but I way prefer the sound on your XSR

This is the most aesthetic looking Cafe Racer Bike I have ever seen. But is it street legal? considering your license plate is hidden at the bottom and your tail lights are not very visible. Also, do you have problems with catching debris onto your shirt while riding considering you don't have a mud guard? what's your experience on that? Thank you

As long as you have working lights and a visible plate, you’re good to go. As for debris, I never rode this bike in anything other than dry weather, so not sure if there would be any issues. It COULD make a great first bike in terms of ride-ability, ease-of-use, riding position, maintenance, etc... It is a bit taller than a lot of entry bikes. If you are new to riding, I would absolutely suggest test riding at least 5 bikes before you decide. In my opinion, your first bike should be something inexpensive/used that you can mess around with and learn the ins-and-outs of maintenance. Your taste and style will also change with your first bike, so it would be a bummer to put a lot of money into something you just want to turn around and trade back in. This is my 3rd bike.

Hello Michael! Thanks for watching, and for asking a great question! I have not had any problems whatsoever. Restrictions are very minimal in my area (Tennessee) with most systems. I also don't ride like a maniac, which also helps keep attention away :) As far as warranty, I'm sure there are some technicalities that might be tricky, but I always keep my stock systems just in case I need to do a quick swap. I apologize if I’m misunderstanding. Are you asking how I like the plate, or how am I able to have it? It’s a great plate, good lighting. There are almost no plate restrictions on my area, as long as it is visible.
Did you experience any exhaust leaks? I just installed the same exhaust i have the same bike! Your videos are the reason I went with this exhaust lol. I’m getting a small leak at the barrel clamp it’s driving me nuts

Hey, bike looks great...I am in the market for a new exhaust and was leaning towards the SC Conic...but hearing/seeing yours might push me in that direction. I like the "look" of the SC, but not enough to justify the cost...the two bros looks pretty good too but sounds much better imo...have you done a tune? How was the install? Thanks...ride safe!

I just used a white permanent paint marker. You can find them in pretty much any craft/hobby store. It's a temporary thing, but easy to re-do when needed.
I have not had one...yet. I emailed Two Brothers right after the install, around a year ago, they said that a tune is not a necessity, but of course it will really unlock the potential of the system. A full dyno with custom tune is on by checklist, but man they are not cheap. I hope to do a full video on that when it happens. Thanks for watching!

Patrick Bryce Icot Hello Patrick! It’s definitely a pretty high seat, but I would let that deter you if you really like it. I always advise riders to do a test ride whenever possible. At the very least go sit on one and walk it around a bit.

I've had an FZ07 for two years now, but I think you just sold me on getting a new XSR700 brother.

Hello Michael! Thanks for watching, and for asking a great question! I have not had any problems whatsoever. Restrictions are very minimal in my area (Tennessee) with most systems. I also don't ride like a maniac, which also helps keep attention away :) As far as warranty, I'm sure there are some technicalities that might be tricky, but I always keep my stock systems just in case I need to do a quick swap. Did you use a power commander? If so, which one?
Hello Damon. I do not have a Power Commander installed quite yet. The only fuel management I have installed is the Booster Plug. Check out that install/review vid.
Any engine light after removing the baffle? Did you flash your ECU or install Power Commander?

I apologize if I’m misunderstanding. Are you asking how I like the plate, or how am I able to have it? It’s a great plate, good lighting. There are almost no plate restrictions on my area, as long as it is visible.
Did you experience any exhaust leaks? I just installed the same exhaust i have the same bike! Your videos are the reason I went with this exhaust lol. I’m getting a small leak at the barrel clamp it’s driving me nuts

Hey, bike looks great...I am in the market for a new exhaust and was leaning towards the SC Conic...but hearing/seeing yours might push me in that direction. I like the "look" of the SC, but not enough to justify the cost...the two bros looks pretty good too but sounds much better imo...have you done a tune? How was the install? Thanks...ride safe!

I just used a white permanent paint marker. You can find them in pretty much any craft/hobby store. It's a temporary thing, but easy to re-do when needed.
That tail light can be fit to xsr155 ?
New Rage Cycles does not have a kit for the 155.
Did you get a retune? I've heard if you do full pipe replacement you may need to retune the bike.
I have not had one...yet. I emailed Two Brothers right after the install, around a year ago, they said that a tune is not a necessity, but of course it will really unlock the potential of the system. A full dyno with custom tune is on by checklist, but man they are not cheap. I hope to do a full video on that when it happens. Thanks for watching!

The bolts that connect the drive chain guard to the swingarm may loosen, possibly causing the chain guard to contact the drive chain and break, which could lead to loss of control increasing risk of a crash.

Patrick Bryce Icot Hello Patrick! It’s definitely a pretty high seat, but I would let that deter you if you really like it. I always advise riders to do a test ride whenever possible. At the very least go sit on one and walk it around a bit.
