iPhone 8 LCD low res, Galaxy s9 AMOLED high res, the truth is... iPhone is extremally fast because of the A11 chip buttt everybody should go for iPhone X if you choose 'Apple' way or go for (as well) modern design of Samsung s8/s9 oled and thin bezels or other android phones ... but I'm not sure if these can handle as much stuff, especially AR and VR (soon VRgoogles and stuff from apple as far as I know)) So I'd say iphone8 is not a great choice xD and it really does look a lot like iphone 7, and both these phones are extremally fast as far as I know. I don't think we need so much power in a smartphone anyways (I'm struggling between Apple and Samsung right now 😂 I'd go for pixel 2xl but well - display problems)

Maybe it's just me but app opening is negligible in regards to speed. The overall fluidity of the device should be what matters the most. Admittedly it appears as if newer Android phones have figured out the lag issues but iOS devices have generally had better fluidity in regards to the actual UI elements.

Both are great phones for sure, but since my S8 slowed down so fast, I switched to IOS and I really like it. But Android is great to, if its executed well (OnePlus, Google are up there)
Maybe because in time you gather a lot of files and apps in your phone and that's why it becomes slower in time? While a new phone would work faster until you start gathering lots of files on it as well. Idk I feel like a person with a standard level of IQ should be able to figure this out.
You have to set the graphics higher on the S9. On Dead Trigger the default settings on Android are just medium.

Also one more thing I had to clarify is that, you think 4GB RAM in the S9 would be sufficient enough to keep Samsung Experience at it's best, for long term use say, 2 years at least, or the S9+ with 6GB RAM would be better in that sense ?

The weather "reloading" on the S9 every time is really just the animation, not the RAM management...
It’s first time we will see how S9 will work in the future...
Samsung s and note line up works fine even after 4 years, for example in the past i used the galaxy s4 for 3 and half years and after that my mom used it for 1 year. The only problem that it had was the battery that after all of this years started to not last that long.

Hey i know its not fair for speedtests, but for day to day usage i'd put the s9's animations into 0.5x speed. This can be done through developer options which can really make the phone feel fast! And due to the insane power there won't be any hiccups either.

S9+ is more stylish, looks more modern, good battery, curve screen, super amoled panel, best camera, faster fingerprint just to tap, fast charging & for iphone u have to pay extra money... don't judge phone on the basis of bemchmark.. main question is can phone give u what u want on day to day life.. so in that case s9+ is definetely a clear winner.. in all aspect

i am wondering when you play pubg on iphone 8 and iphone x does the sensitivty stays the same ? or is it changed because of the aspect ratio of the phone getting bigger? im currently using iphone 6 i just bought the pocophone since my fren told me it runs pubg smoothly yes it is smooth but the screen is not the same as i used to play .. the x and y axis doesnt feel right so im scared this would happen to if i bought the iphone x help me please so will the sensitivity will be difference due to the change of the screen size of the iphone 8 and 10
Seems to me that IPhone closes the low ram apps like calendar or calculator, and it could be a clever decision, because it takes almost the same time to open or reopen it the difference being if its kept in ram or not, which might matter

the_rebel _900 its because of the different screens, LCD screens have a background LED which always shines on the same brightness, just the mirrors in the pixels move, on an OLED screen, which is in the s9, the pixels which are black are off and dont need any energ
The S9 was so much brighter too. Had a true white whereas the iPhone looked off-white and almost yellow. I'm sure it could be adjusted but that might also affect it's battery life more.

Ram management is improved on both phones. I had iPhone 8 few months ago and memory management was really bad. I also had S8 which had a little worse ram management.

I'm a android user before (corby, s3 mini, j2, j7 pro) and yeah, based on my experience. After a year, the phone just slows down. I dunno why, but yeah. It sucks especially if the apps you used updates. And I love how classy the iphone looks so i bought iphone 8 last week. And i love it, yeah i know it's a big change and it gets a little tricky to use since I used to have Samsung before but yeah. It's a learning experience for me and so far so good. 😊
How is the performance on the so, I'm really worried about the 4gb of RAM they put in the s8 did slow down at times, but the note 8 with 6gbs of RAM was always snappy. So I'm curious to know how does it performance compared to Galaxy note 8 and s8

Got a iPhone X ... Had the S7 edge ... The edge was a great phone but loving the iPhone X its just so different to anything else about... Apple did a good job with this phone.

You can't get it wrong with either of the two... They're both super great! I personally do prefer iOS over the Android, but it's up to everybody to choose. The best option is of course to have "the best of both worlds", but I'm not a millionaire. :D Great video!
I’m both android and iphone user. I know there A LOT of more things on android (and in general on the samsung). But idk why but i always think the iphone is better. I had to choose between a the samsung S8 or S9 or the Iphone 8. I chose the iphone. I really don’t know why but it really feels smoother and it (almost) NEVER gets any type of lag. Apps never crash.
Note: I also noticed that instagram is always slow in loading on iphone, they should probably optimize the app, or maybe it’s an ios problem.

I feel that Apple poorly optimized their 8 series iPhones compared to their great 7 series. If I would upgrade from my 7Plus to an 8 plus the only compelling reasons would be that beautiful gold color lol, and the better battery life, but still it's not worth it.

realistically the phones are almost identical and it all comes down to personal preference. Both phones kick ass.
U gotta charge both ur phones to 100 % before u test. It does make a difference
