Inside Out
Thoughts in the head
Become words and deeds
When we give into them
Yes, when we agree
Some deeds come fast
Others take more time
As we plot and we plan
With beliefs in our mind
Yes, our minds do spin
With all we hear and see
Then the questions begin
Hmm, is that right for me?
Then the heart jumps in
And helps us to decide
If we will pursue that
It comes out from inside
Thoughts come to all
Not all should be retained
Many should be tossed
Worthless and vain
It’s not what goes in
It is what comes out

Of what our heart is about
