How do you keep the back of your hair from turning into dreads? I have that problem, I get a lot of knots after day 2 with my curly hair. Is there a way I can stop it from getting really tangled. Your videos has helped me a lot. I have similar type of curls as you but my hair is short it is above my shoulders.

I just love your hair and your videos! Can I ask you a question? It’s about hair growth really. I have been natural since one year now. I , of course, had to cut so much off as it was all heat damaged. My curls have definitely bounced back in a year and I have gone full on with the curly girl method! Lol! A year after I feel my hair is still very dry and hard to handle at times plus it feels like it has stopped growing! I eat super healthy, exercise plus drink plenty of water. Did you feel the same a year in when you were transitioning ? Is it normal and did you see a massive difference from the first to the second year?

I’m so glad you showed how much you shed because even though everyone says it’s normal nobody said how much and I was beginning to think that maybe I do shed too much, but this has reassured me. I roll it up into little balls as well but I thought that was just me who did that. 😂😂😂😂

Thank you! Honestly, I use so many different ones! I like to rotate my shampoo & conditioners each time I wash my hair, so pretty much any shampoo & conditioner I've mentioned in my videos I use.

my hair is just like yours only my hair is short, but i find if i let it grow out long i lose my volume and hair gets weighed down super easily :/. do you have any tips for growing out loose curls while keeping definition and volume?

If your hair is already layered and gets flat when you grow it out it'll probably stay flat. I refuse to grow my hair out because it gets weighed down the second it hits one inch below my shoulders. If I want longer hair I usually wear a wig.

Yes I have, and I find that my scalp doesn't feel as fresh
