This, this is the reason why I got into DnB. Found this randomly in some video game-related chat years ago and been listening to the genre ever since. Still an absolutely top-tier track for me. Whenever I listen to it, I get chills. The flow on this is absolutely perfect. Thank you random video game dude for leaving this for me to find.

Hey! Thanks for telling me about this type of music! I have been wondering what it was called for the longest! I'm glad I saw your comment on the Sonic Adventure 2 video talking about UK garage/jungle. Thanks buddy!
Makes sense, Soichi Terada did the soundtrack for Ape Escape, a PS1 game. Also a lot of the drum breaks used in this particular beat were used in Ape Escape's Coral Cave level.
@@LS95774 I already did XD Also, just a small correction: I don't think Soichi Terada made the OST for Ape Escape 2. I haven't checked but it just doesn't sound like his style.
@josephmanners For sure. He just knows his way around chords. Genius. Also, if you listen carefully, there is that aquatic sound from "Coral Cave" in Ape Escape 1.
I saw another comment allude to this but I do not see the similarity. Yes it sounds like both are produced by him, but the bassline is totally different. This one gives me a total different vibe than the Coral Cave joint.
