Hook/Emma [OUAT] & Hatter/Alice [Syfy Alice] - Follow You Down

- Suggest the use of Headphones please. Finishing this rather quickly prior to the first episode of Once Upon a Time S04. I had most of this video done prior to leaving town and now that I am back I am so hoping to catch up. I know the future holds comparisons of Frozen to OUAT. But, for me right from the beginning when Hook & Emma were on that beanstalk I felt that they were so like Alice & Hatter from the miniseries Alice.
Alice and Emma both have trust issues. Alice’s feelings about men come from the abandoned from her dad then of course from prior boyfriends. While Emma’s is from both her parents and then Neil, and other’s who have left her life. Both women are strong both physically and mentally. Hatter and Hook are both hustlers. Hook is a pirate yes but a thief and smuggler of the seas. While Hatter is a smuggler on land using his teashop and at the same time helping the Resistance. Yet both want to do the right thing. They are trying to just survive and start to change because of meeting these women.
I always questioned if Eddie and Adam from OUAT watched Syfy’s Alice and wrote down notes of what they liked to put in their show. Cause OUAT’s Hatter or rather Jefferson’s mannerisms were so similar to the way Andrew did his Hatter I wondered about that. Maybe one day I’ll do a video just on that.
As for now this video will have the similarities between the characters, the dialogue and even the shots while showing some of their story. There is so much more to compare, but it couldn’t fit in this video. So, if anyone is reading this through and you also love both these couples and have notice this as well leave a comment. Would love to read your thoughts.
