From what I can understand of the situation, one girl that we will call Blue was still pulling rank and was successful until she decided to focus on other things like her own legit business (if I remember correctly). The so called best friend (or leech) was the one who was demoted several ranks despite working the business and seems to have taken out all of her anger and jealousy on her friend. At its most basic, the general idea behind investing like that is to buy LOW and sell HIGH. With BTC at its all-time high (ath) during the bull market last year, you'd need the price to go even higher to make money off of that investment. So you'd have to be pretty sure and confident that it would continue to rise to buy in at that price. Instead, this year, with the downturn in all markets, crypto also entered a bear market and the prices toppled, particularly for BTC (from an all-time high of ~$68K in Nov 2021 to as low as $18K this year). That means that if you had bought in at the ath, your investment would be down about 66% this year (which is a bigger hit than the regular financial markets have taken). Now, the price could still go back up, but for people who don't have much money to invest or are looking for something less long-term, I would say crypto isn't a good idea because of this volatility. K sorry for the textbook-length comment but I hope that helps some!
As a practice manager for a financial management firm (licensed), please do not take any financial advice from anyone who is unlicensed/uneducated that requires you to pay... there are reasons that the licensed have to be registered and fingerprinted, take continuing education, etc. Also, those fees are INSANE. A good advisor charges

I noticed something on MLM income disclosures that I find very interesting and I haven’t really heard about in anti MLM videos. The income and percentages listed are the highest rank reached in a year. Meaning if someone is at a certain rank, you don’t make as much gross income as it states unless you hold the rank for the entire year.

I have actual formal education in finance and even without that, investopedia, bloomberg, WSJ, etc. are *great* free tools. No MLM scam needed. and yes you're right about the Institutional Fee meaning- it's an enterprise-level license for a lot of users (like 100+, but can vary per company selling the usage license what that threshold is). It is NOT per person. There's usually different licensing fees based on the # of users and fewer users = lower fee.

The historic definition of code-switching may have referred linguistically to people alternating between languages but the modern use of the term is in reference to Black and LatinX people who feel like they have to change or switch their personalities (or even their physical selves) in order to be considered "acceptable" by the "dominant" racial group. So, a Black woman who feels like she can't wear her natural hair to work because it will be seen as unprofessional and so she straightens it to conform to Eurocentric standards. The income and percentages listed are the highest rank reached in a year. Meaning if someone is at a certain rank, you don’t make as much gross income as it states unless you hold the rank for the entire year.

and yes you're right about the Institutional Fee meaning- it's an enterprise-level license for a lot of users (like 100+, but can vary per company selling the usage license what that threshold is). It is NOT per person. There's usually different licensing fees based on the # of users and fewer users = lower fee.
