VGMusic Covers You should watch it. It's my favorite anime. This is actually a theme for the the sequel series, Eureka SeveN: Astral Ocean, but Flow did the first season theme for 7.
Even if everyone says Eureka 7 AO was horrible I found it has it's own unique charm that only Studio Bones can create so I'll love that anime, plus seeing Eureka and Renton all grown up and together was the best.
As far as i can tell, the main problem was that the planned for a similar length to the first series but got cut short partway through. So the ending arcs feel rushed and not properly fleshed out.
I found it disappointing. I waited a whole decade and some for it. I'd've been happier just with When You Wish Upon A Star having been the end. E7AO clumsily tried to just go over the emotional beats of the old E7 without actually earning them. It's cynical and manipulative storytelling. The issue is E7 isn't a giant robot story, it's a love story. The powers behind AO made a serious misread on why people love the original E7. They thought people wanted a giant robot story. They miscalculated the appeal and that was the fundamental problem. The confusing, bizarre, hypocritical, and indecisive plot didn't help after that. The show was afraid to commit to its beats, because they only got 26 episodes and couldn't afford to commit, because they had all these others to go through with on the list. The result was strangled audience investment as they discovered not only the stakes never mattered, but any seeming risks or changes would be undone by the end of the episode 99% of the time. And once your audience sees the artifice, it's all over.
This has to be my favorite song of Flow's. Koushi Asakawa's raspy vibrato compliments and contrasts with Keigo Hayashi's clean smoothness, and the music has this magical quality to it. The song is simply a masterpiece!

Just, like, damn, FLOW is one of the coolest J-Rock bands imo, their voices and songs are so good. First song I heard was Colors, effing loved it, then Sign, effing loved it, Re:member, effing loved it, I mean really, after that I listened to most of their songs, and I couldn't bring myself to dislike any of them.
sugoi.. still the best. flow my favorite band of all. i hope they will have a concert in philippines someday. they make me relax and remove sadness when i listen to there songs.
It can be if they use seven swell to jump to the dimension that AO live or use the scub burst either, I still think where truth can go? He doesn't have any scub in body left he can only fly aronud the world
