I LOVE how tender he is with her after her story about the postcard. He never say's the words but if you watch his actions closely you can see how much he loves her. Jeremy Brett was an AMAZING actor! I have seen all of his Sherlock Holmes Episodes and I never thought of Sherlock while watching this. Joanna does a fantastic job as well!

In the Book... the driveway was a terrifyingly long drive! It kept going on and on...as to give suspense, it was dark with the branches of trees hanging over head like a cathedral ceiling. All of a sudden, a great Red profusion of Rhododendrons appeared. too suddenly as she describes. it shocked her. Finally Manderlay...secret and silent, tucked away in the woods like a jewel in the hollow of a hand.

For all your sad jargon-pushing and worthy attempts at reminding youtube viewers of Britain's evil history in international affairs - you sell yourself short by being completely ignorant in this particular context of this particular book/TV serial. Your somewhat feigned anger and borrowed verbiage is given a bit less ferocity by the fact that you even bothered to watch up to part 5. There is a lot more to the story.
