@@TheApprenticeBen Yes mate, that's the same place. It's just off Ahern's road which you can get to down Postman's track, off the Maleny-Stanley River Road. After you leave there, just continue along Ahern's Road to Conondale and then to Kenilworth.
Hi mate, depends on the amount of rainfall in recent times before your trip, but i reckon it should be manageable without a snorkel or lift. Ofcourse, dont go charging into the water.
Hi mate, for this particular trip we did not let down tyre pressures as this wasn’t a complex, technical track. However, it would be good to slightly lower tyre pressures as that would help with a less bumpy ride over the corrugated track.
In this other video of ours : 14 RIVER CROSSINGS | CONDAMINE RIVER ROAD TRACK | 4WD ADVENTURE | OFFROAD | BRISBANE | QUEENSLAND ua-cam.com/video/UYS6URYybxA/v-deo.html Here we dropped tyre pressures to about 25-28 psi to tackle the highly corrugated track and river crossings involved.
@@TheApprenticeBen Just hit Booloumba on the weekend and had a blast! It was a good little introduction to 4wding, nothing too crazy there. Didn't drop the tyre pressures but I can understand why you would want to with the bumpy terrain.
Beautiful... Your own voiceover at places, instead of the music will make these videos even better and meaningful!
✨✨✨
Thanks a lot.
Looks like an epic drive!! We must do a trip soon! We planning on going to NSW for the Pajamboree on the 9th Nov!
This one was an easy day trip, missed inviting the group as this was more of a last moment decision.
Next time you are headed up towards Kenilworth try a coffee at Crystal Waters near Conondale. One of my favourite stops.
Thanks for the recommendation, mate. I did a quick search to find the place and wondering if it is the Ikigai Cafe you refer to?

Awesome. I saw some amazing reviews when i did a search so definitely on our To-Visit list. Thanks for the recco. 👍
Hey mate, how do you reckon a standard Pajero would go with those creek crossings? No snorkel or lift kit.
You would have no problems in a std Pajero. I’ve had water over my headlights, just create the bow wave and follow it 😁

For reference, my car has a 2 inch lift and no snorkel. We managed easy.
@@TheApprenticeBen my footage of a deep crossing is on the Janowen Hills night drive video
@@RnR_OZThe stuff you do with that Paj can make most folks shy.
New to 4wd, do you need to drop your tyre pressure for this trip at all?

@createliveexplore1285 glad to hear you enjoyed your trip. Did you have any troubles with the crossings following the rain over the week?

Thanks for the feedback. Need to look into voiceovers. Appreciate it. 👍
