English is not my first language but in my own language there's a really clear distinction between the sound of thunder and lightning itself. So while i get what you're saying there's still a clear distinction between in the two, at least in my language (which is also germanic, so i'm guessing it's the same in English)

My 13 year old daughter and I rocked out and sang along with your songs on a 2000 mile trip last summer. She couldn't believe I liked your sound! I grew up listening to The Violent Femmes and others when I was her age. Can't wait to hear new song!

In my teens I witnessed the dawn of punk and the sound that these guys put out brings me back to those amazing times.
Very sceptical when smoko came out but they get better and better!!
Yet their sound feels fresh and genuine
I hope these guys' backs are okay from single-handedly carrying the entire genre of punk rock into the future

I saw the Dead Kennedys in LA when I was 18 in LA. These guys have that same thrash spirit, for sure...
I never heard this band until just now and I loved it. They have a similar energy as the descendents that is pretty much needed and appreciated these days. Glad someone's keeping that flame alive, lads.

Honestly, this is just incredible punk music. Absolutely love the energy and the cheeky tongue-in-cheek lyrics. Reminds me a lot of the Descendents in some ways. Keep it up.

For the oblivious it is the (mostly rock and metal)music festival that takes place every year at the Nürburg Ring race track in Germany since 1985.
There is also a twin festival "Rock im Park" that takes place in Nürnberg on the same weekends. The line up is the same.
