How does new Orleans Louisiana look for the remainder of hurricane season is there anything I need to be worried about
It is looking a bit more positive the remainder of hurricane season for your area, as the wind shear has really begun to increase across New Orleans. That can always shift back to the north and allow a storm to brew and target Louisiana and New Orleans, however the trend is definitely decreasing chances for New Orleans, and I am thinking chance have decreased significantly. Still some tropical moisture chances, but chances of hurricanes for the New Orleans area has decreased, and any storm would more likely to be a depression or tropical storm rather than a hurricane. I will keep you posted.

I just bought this trilogy map thing. How do you get it to animate like this? All I receive is a bunch of maps LOL
Great question, the Trilogy Maps you have to import them into preferably Adobe Photoshop or any program that utilizes the map imaging formats, and use layering which I use primarily for my thumbnails or if I have location zones I need to outline for my viewers in my videos. You can even add animation overlaying those maps into Adobe After Effects, However I think the animated part you may be referring to, is the map model overlays I use especially in my tropical updates, which is a program and app called Radar Omega Alpha Edition Subscription which is different from the Trilogy Maps.
What happened? I thought this thing was just supposed to be a Tropical Depression and move off? Where did the dry air and wind sheer go?

The good news is for your area of Grandy NC that blocking high builds over your area from the northeast. It should allow you to dry out over these next week or two.

There is still a very slight risk, but I think it is so low of a chance of a major hurricane in Outer Banks NC that it is less than 1%.

You should be over with the major hurricane threat in outer banks NC. So far between the blocking high and the wind shear, plus the cooler water temperatures should help lessen the threat.

Your area definitely had its fair share of tropical moisture, hurricane, and tropical action. Drier and quieter times are ahead.
