Those are some fast cars. We all know the Turbo S is fast, but damn, that TTRS and Golf, they fast as hell too.

Mădălin Fantastic yeah, but so was the TTRS. TTRS was a Stage 4, and the Golf R was just a simple Stage 2 tune. So trying to figure out your point here...

I feel so blessed. I have owned a TT and a TTS. Now i have RS5 and an R8. Not rich and work always, haven't been on vacation in YEARS, but i love my cars!

Sleepers cars can beat supercars on the road. It’s all about driving skills. Most people with nice cars are sedentary and are afraid to floor it. Money doesn’t buy guts.

@Mike O'Horny False, a turbo S can make 2,6" 0-100 km/h, and even a TT RS with 700hp cant repeat this numbers, Porsche use massive tires and better AWD system, 510hp RS3 head to head? impossible (in a fair race).

They're in a different league. Stock for Stock they cost a ton as well... so kind of a no brainer. They're up there with McLaren's & Lambos & Ferraris.
@Mike O'Horny LOL u dont know what youre talking about. Stock Turbo S does 0-60 in 2.6 seconds and is known to be one of the hardest accelerating cars on the planet lmao. This one was stock, if anything the TTRS wasnt stock

Audi ttrs are brilliant guys, especially 0-60, the torque is unreal. I have owned 2, a mk2 & mk3, I have not long sold my mk3....oh how I kinda regret that life decision now, especially when I see these videos.

Probably a stupid question, but how stock is the TT? It definitely doesn't sound stock, but I was surprised that it didn't have a cold air intake or any visibly upgraded under the hood

TT-RS had a lot of squat on acceleration. Is that normal for 600HP? Or did they maybe not upgrade the suspension when they bumped the power?

Nowadays its allmost all up whos car have best launch control and tyres.Drivers job is only react as fast as possible.Somehow sad when earlier you must know your car and how it performed best.
@@topivaltanen4432 that is false my friend, I used to think the same way before I had DCT , now I ve owned a GTI mk7 and currently s3 8v and it takes time to learn the time it takes for it to take off after releasing the break and if you are doing it manually it all depends on you shifting at the right time and you do want it in manual mode because the level of grip you get its different so you must feel the pavement and the car to know when to shift.

@@RDriver2.0 the TTRS wasn't finding any traction in that race. Golf R got lucky and still lost.
If I had any choice I'd take a tuned S8 instead :) 2.8-2.9s to 100, same as a stock Turbo S.

The only thing that's been bugging me is that a top trim Model S would win here every time. It basically replicates a race at a stop light, but in safe, controlled, conditions. The only thing is the engine drama is part of my being a car enthusiast.

If you want to make low 700s they have a turbo upgrade and on e85 you make like 740hp.

The thing I love about the Porsche is it’s fast from the factory, spend enough money and you can make almost anything fast. Nothing against the Audi, but the 911T is a beast.

Marc Klein no the TTRS is tuned to 600hp, stock they are 400hp. The fact that the Porsche beats a tuned RS speaks of how insane the Turbo S is stock. Look at the drop down on the video...
