WHAT!!! I live so many of your solutions and can't imagine how long of a journey it took you to get there! Thank you!

Great video, I really enjoyed the breakdown. I’m considering switching from Canon to Sony and looking at all the options for the FS5 mkII and FS7. Thanks for sharing!

This video answered a question for me from which i couldnt find a video on. thanks. my question was basically how sturdy are those 15 mm rods and how much can you extend them out as in not necessarily in the middle how you had them mounted to the end of the plate where a majority of the rods were out on one side. And they are pretty sturdy especially with your set up. my bigest priority with mounting anything is 1st how secure and stable the camera is, then second how secure is everything else. I always keep my stuff safe and un-broken. i like to keep that track record. i never say never, but i never am careless also. Thanks for this video.

The rods are quite stable when tightened up properly. I've found the aluminum ones are sturdier than carbon.

Very nice video of your set up however, (always a "however"), I would've liked some close ups and better explanation about some of your widget parts, like the V-lock adaptor. It seems you have some sort of dummy batter running out of the camera battery compartment to power the V-lock. Not seen that and would like to know what that is. I use a Gold Top adapter via the Extension back, which works but adds weight. Also, it appears you have some sort of mounting mate on your wirelesses. You explained the cold shoe mount to the cheese plate but what is on the actual wireless?

Allen Facemire thanks for this. Both components your asking about come with the product. The wire for power comes with the Tilta V mount plate and the cold shoe mount on the pack comes with Sennhsier G4 and all other G packs. Links in descriptions. Thank you so much!

Thank you for this video! This is exactly what I needed help with to reach that new level of cinematography. I take it that whenever you need to pull focus, you just do it hand held? No focus motor?

Sorry, I just saw that part again about the Tilta Nucleus M. That makes sense.

Hey thanks! I usually just use my hand. There is a section in the description “Things I Forgot” and there’s another follow focus I use in there.

You can skip all of this and just use the FS7 as it is and get the same results lol
