She lays it out that it's circumstantial, but more than a hunch. And in fact, the intel showed the frequency of the courier's movements, the LACK of other UBL info elsewhere, and consequential activities following communications from UBL's location, which spelled out a pretty clear picture that he was there. @TheColdWish well its not a myth. In order for the operation to be carried out, the SEAL Team 6 operators will have to cross around 2 to 3 borders of different countries. If u didn't fall in love with Jessica in the movie you ain't human
The part where she takes the model drone from him was a brilliant touch. She’s basically admitting that this is all on a hunch. But at the same time earns their respect.
She lays it out that it's circumstantial, but more than a hunch. And in fact, the intel showed the frequency of the courier's movements, the LACK of other UBL info elsewhere, and consequential activities following communications from UBL's location, which spelled out a pretty clear picture that he was there. Also, there was corroboration, IIRC, from other witnesses.
Love that they simultaneously tear down their egos before rebuilding them
only a pig , like her, would think she has the authority to talk to them like that.
@@smegma-man-bj2ev They are not gods. She does show she respects what they do as extremely risky, although sarcastically. Given her position in the intel agency, she's also probably a far higher government class than they are, so also likely higher rank in the management scheme. I'm sure though, this scene is a play to the audience and not at all how it would transpire IRL.
@Neptune better way to put it is that in this situation she is the expert and her pay grade likely is much higher than his. That said, this scene is for dramatic effect. I doubt any analyst would be that flippant around actual active SEALs.
@Neptune she literally says she was denied the bomb recommendation. In the end, in real life, this op was incredible.

Should have won best movie Oscar. it didn't because Bigelow had the audacity to tell the uncomfortable truth that enhanced interrogation techniques where critical to finding UBL. Instead they gave to to Argo, a good movie, but also strokes their own ego..
@TheColdWish Argo or Zero Dark Thirty? The latter was a lot closer to the facts, the biggest difference that Chastain played a composite figure.
Argo was a decent though not great movie, with a poorly done ending, and absolutely no relationship to facts.
Movie also gave away its biases by not pointing out that GW Bush ignored Bin Laden and Obama risked his career and reputation to get him. Very bizarre mistake by the Republican party which has never recovered from it
She did a great job playing a character that never really existed... and I was just surprised they made her up...
saying that, I really enjoyed the movie...
False. Chastain's character was based on an actual female analyst who tracked and found bin Laden.
@@romanmanner False. There was no such person, this was a heavily propagandized composite of some women who had minor roles in the CIA.

Why is there an All American soldier there with those elite and secretive spec ops personnel? And until today, the Ghost Hawks are still very secretive.
@TheColdWish well its not a myth. In order for the operation to be carried out, the SEAL Team 6 operators will have to cross around 2 to 3 borders of different countries. To insert and extract the DEVGRU operators undetectedly, they used 2 specially modified Black Hawks, which are stealth. One of them crash land, which the operators later destroyed it, but a small part of the tail section survives.
